Saban had potentially 8 games of film of the 2019 LSU offense to review last year, and LSU put up 46 on his D.

Kirby had potentially 12 games of film and his D gave up 37.

It was still evolving at that point.

If Brady was the mastermind as many of you claim, it isnt evolving anymore.

Do you honestly believe coaches like Saban and Kirby cant watch film and figure out ways to stop "Brady's offense"?

They had plenty of film last year by the time we played them and we did nothing different and scored over 80 points combined on them. The difference was LSU's flawless execution.

It will be a different offense without Burrow and CEH, but if Brennan has time to throw and is solid, LSU's WRs will give teams' fits. The stable of RBs don't look to shabby either.

Studying and a whole season of calling those plays.

I absolutely believe the offense doesn't look like this without someone with knowledge of rpos coming in to help. But I don't think Steve is a dumb guy or lazy.

The offense started to evolve after the Georgia game in 2018. It was way different than in the beginning of 2018 and Ensminger was in charge of that change. We really saw what the O could be in the bowl game against Central Florida. That was all E

LSU’s. Why is this so hard for so many to wrap their head around?

I didn't see much different in our offense in those games other than 2-3 plays. Brady clearly brought a lot of value to the table as he transformed the offense and I do think we'll miss him in spots (and his overall innovative approach). But if the QB and O-line can be solid, I think the talent is so great around them that it won't take a mastermind to make things work most of the time. The way Burrow was playing last year though would make many coordinators look like masterminds (still, Brady put him in the best offense for him).

I don’t think we are fricked but I also think it’s dumb to think our offense will be an absolute machine like it was last year.

We’ve won 3 National Championships with 3 different head coaches in 16 years I have a feeling we will be ok.

Last year was a perfect storm of talent, coaching and execution. LSU should still be fine, but I would accept the fact we will never see anything like the 2019 offense again.

considering there has never been an offense like last years anyone thinking the offense will be as prolific as last years isn’t being realistic

If you don’t think O will go out and get the pieces to plug in at analyst, Pass game coordinator, WR coach , etc to compliment the Slinger then you are not real smart. He took his time to fill those positions this year with highly qualified folks after watching what a NFL offensive mind can do to college football. If you think about it, very similar to what NS did when he left the NFL in early 90s to go to Michigan St. Only difference is that NS did it in the defensive side of ball. He brought a NFL defensive scheme and position coaches and focused on preparation/execution. He plugged new guys into his staff along the way. O had a vision to do this on offense. He knew what he wanted to see He stated it from day 1, he just couldn’t implement it himself bc of his lack of knowledge and took a while to find the folks who could.

I can’t draw a set of plans or build a house, but I can visualize the house I want and it’s characteristics. Just have to find the right architect and contractor to design and build. No real difference.
