Every year I'm optimistic and riding with LSU sports with preseason picks as high as 11 games in football, sweet 16 in basketball and Omaha in baseball. After being beat down the last two years I need to temper my expectations. I'll always support LSU sports but if you want to bring optimism back to LSU sports start winning again at a high level.

I’ve read on here for a couple of years now that nothing is. So, you’re right.

You guys are just so miserable to have to
Listen to bitching constantly when you act like a new coach is supposed to start his first year and blow it out the water immediately! It’s exhausting

I've discovered these people prefer drama to actual sports.

You clearly don't like Scott Woodward. I think you're being overly dramatic and generalizing too much due to that. I think we are still in a position to where we have to wait and see. Kim Mulkey is his only major hire that has had a full season as a sample size.

we have such stupid fans.

the goal wasn't to win championships, genius. the goal was to become relevant. Jimbo made them relevant. relevance may not seem like much to you, but to a wealthy freakin school with zero relevance, becoming relevant is a lot more important than an occasional championship.

they spent the most money and it was still bread crumbs to them but more than any other school's program is worth.

Like your poli board posts you feel the need to start off with a lie. Entering this season there were far more players on scholarships before recruits and transfers. With Orgeron's hs recruits and some transfers this team is a top 20 team. If Brennan stays healthy CBK will have a solid starting QB, something Orgeron did not have the last 2 years.

More like the dumbest bunch of drama queens our baseball team isn’t looking like the 98 Yankees 1 month into the season our baseball program is ruined. we fired basketball coach that was busted cheating and continued to do so, after receiving a NOA from the NCAA that most very contains damaging proof :wah:

Football: Love the hire and we needed someone like Kelly. He has a lot of work ahead of him, but he has a great group of assistance to help.

Men's Basketball: I liked WW, but he really screwed up. His in-game coaching is ok at best. He could recruit for sure. Just would not get the best out of the talent. McMahon will do great here I think. Even with penalties if any. He will be average at best the next two years then his system will be firmly implemented and getting the players he needs for his vision.

Woman's Basketball: Mulkey should contend for the SEC title next year. She has changed the way we as fans look at WBB now which has not been around since Pokie was here. Fargus left the cupboard empty and was here to long to begin with. I look for Mulkey to add a player or two from transfers and continue to recruit very well.

Baseball: Patience is what is needed. I'm glad we did not get Sully. I wanted Johnson and am glad we have him. I don't care for Kelly, the pitching coach. Just not very impressive thus far. I understand we had a big turnover from last year, but this is just sad. I think the task at hand is harder than Johnson expected it to be, but he can handle it. I'm not expecting much from this team this year. A few wins in the tourney and a regional unless drastic changes come. It just looks like they are pressing to hard and not having fun. Winning alone will not cure all of the issues but is a good place to start. GEAUX TIGERS

I agree with all this. But as I describe in the OP I'm concerned because of Woody's track record. Want to look into LSU sports future, look at his track record. LSU should be MUCH better than slightly above average.

Currently all of LSU sports are inline with Woody's slightly better than average track record. It's a frustrating and unacceptable track record for LSU IMO. He can buck that trend because most of Woody's track record going forward is hinging how well CBK does because football is king and carries the most weight.
