Pete Maravich was basketball entertainment at its finest but let’s not kid ourselves. LSU basketball at the time was way more about putting on the Pete Maravich show (which was one hell of a thing to watch) than actually winning basketball games. Pete avg 38 shots per game and made around 17 of them for goodness sake while we LSU.
