If you want to get rid of Beth Torina, you better take a look at the volleyball coach... hasn't been to the NCAA tournament during her time here... softball still makes the NCAA tournament every year. Maybe fire Deangelo first.

In 2025 once again the Women’s CWS drew more tv views than the Men’s CWS. I think if LSU had a good softball coach many more fans would care.

Agree excellent coach for McNeese but wouldn’t be a game changer here. Ppl want a Will Wade type then hire Earlywine, kinda a jerk, can evaluate, coach and proven winner.. would be highly controversial though

Kenny G is who i would like to have here. some posters melt tho when i say that. I know a dad whos daughter played for KEnny. I will get some feedback soon since most are shitting on him here. his latest and greatest is better than beth that is for damn sure.
The other coaches i wanted years ago have all retired now. I woulda taken mike candrea, mike lotief or clint myers.

In light of what we are paying to buyout BK and now MM, there is no reason to even consider buying out Beth Torina. LSU does not have a bottomless pitt of money. You guys are delusional. But, oh, it’s not your money why should you care. It’s a really bad look for LSU. Stop it!

Beth isn’t going anywhere though so it’s an irrelevant point however you could get a Travis Wilson, Earlywhine, Snider cheaper than 500k. I’m hiring a coach that’s been in the SEC or someone like a Wilson that’s won at the highest level as a Asst Coach

Was more of an observation. There are 3 big mens sports and 3 big women sports. In the past 5-7 years LSU has spent a considerable about of money revamping the LSU athletics program, with a clear emphasis on winning now .
Jay Clark hired as head coach- Natty
Mulkey hired - Natty
Jay Johnson hired- Natty
Kiffin hire - massive investment
Wade hired- Targeted hire to revive program. Won SEC while here
Where does that leave Beth? 15 year coach with no hardware
