was happy with O after the Auburn game two seasons ago. That was the turning point for me.

I was reading a thread yesterday after the loss to Florida that year & you were making fun of people supporting O. That was 2 months after Auburn. Stop lying

But I supported the O hire. Imagine how bad it would've turned out having Herman here. Glad I was wrong!

everyone has an opinion and people stated their preference here before, during and after the hiring of Coach O.

i'm thankful that it has never been an elected position by the fans or even a hire by a selection committee.

i doubt Aleva ever dreamed how the process would be botched so badly.

thank goodness it all worked out.
divine intervention? maybe.

Dabo would know!

I didn't think O was a bad hire, but I never thought he'd be more than a 2 loss per year coach. Glad I was wrong too. I wanted Jimbo. Alleva messed that up (thank God) and got himself fired with the whole Wade issue. It's kind of ironic how we got both Orgeron and Wade under JA, and then he got himself fired! Lol I think we can just chalk all of it up to the sports gods smiling down upon us. I'm not sure I've ever heard of so much fruit bearing under such a bad administration.

Link?

Being upset about a loss also does not equal not supporting him. I still say stuff to the O over LSU people. Obviously they were correct in him being the head coach, but to this day they are still extremely fragile when it comes to questioning anything to do with O. They also hate/put down every other coach at LSU to prop him up more. None of that has changed, despite them being correct in O being a good hire for LSU. (You are one of them. Pirate King is another. Now that the tide has turned in overwhelming support of O on this board, you start to question stuff, because you are a contrarian bitch.)

You "supported" the hire but thought we were going 6-6?? You frickin liar. Who would support a 6-6 season at LSU. Very few of us, outside of Ree supported this. Don't try to rewrite history now.

Okay, so you’re outright admitting that you’re an idiot

>1% of LSU fan base thought O was a great hire. Nobody but O and maybe the team believed last season was possible. He’s a done a Saban like turnaround the past 2 years, and seems to be a perfect fit for LSU.

There are a handful of people who didn't. Pirate King, first cut, Lester, Ben Coleman (rip), rogertheshrubber, tiger ree, and a few others.

Herman is on the hot seat at Texas. He fired both his coordinators which is a sign that he is next. Herman has done nothing at Texas to show he would have been a good hire at LSU.

I was pro Orgeron from the start and did not want Jimbo either.

I wanted Coach O over Fisher and Herman. I still think that Jimbo is one of the most over rated coaches in the country,

And which coaches have won big at texas? He has had to rebuild with what we all know is a toxic booster group over there at texas. In theory its a good job, but its hard to get everyone on the same page there. Its very likely aranda was the dc and burrow was the qb last year if herman was at lsu. Not saying we wiuldve won the title, but an argument can be made. His offenses are good. I cant say if he is as open as orgeron when it comes to listening to others when it comes to biometrics and getting the players optimal rest and hiring advanced scouting shadow staffs

I still think Herman would have done really well here but wouldn’t have hit a homerun like Orgeron has
