But I supported the O hire. Imagine how bad it would've turned out having Herman here. Glad I was wrong!

I supported the O hire but was skeptical..... I even said we may go 6-6 in 2018.... glad I was wrong.

I have to admit I was nervous about hiring a coach who used to drink coleslaw out of a styrofoam cup but I’m so glad it worked out. He is the best man for the job. I prefer my coach to get two sides of coleslaw at canes then a coach who kisses his players.

We have absolutely no way of knowing how bad it would have turned out with Herman here.
It is hard to imagine anybody having a better season than O did though. Ultimately we made the right hire, even though I didn't think so at the time for sure.

While i wanted herman and now realize O was a much better hire...Herman has done nothing to show that he would have been bad here

I was very upset with the O hire and I was wrong, luckily for LSU, I am not the one making those decisions.
I wanted Jimbo and I wanted Herman. Now looking back Herman would not be a cultural fit here. I think the entire debacle with the Jimbo gaf eroded all of our faith in that administration making hiring of O felt like a consolation.
I was wrong.
Now it's hard not to love the guy but he is a great coach. He has made some very progressive decisions as a coach ( locker room, outdoor cooling room, a 5-star chef ) and he lets people do their job. Its pretty incredible how forward-thinking the guy is.

Than 6-6? I never said LSU would go 6-6. That's been unacceptable with any coach since Saban.
I was happy with O after the Auburn game two seasons ago. That was the turning point for me.

Everyone was wrong. I wanted Herman also but as soon as he was hired I got behind him and you should have also if you didn't. Once he stupid showing improvement then you me and everyone else needs to ride his arse ok fb, rant etc.
When everyone want supporting his that first two years it was completely unfounded and just folder for any highschool football player thinking about going to LSU will see when he Google's coach O, or tries to see what the last fans think of there coach...

I think Herman would have done better here than he’s done at Texas. Especially if he was able to keep Aranda around. He’s still a douche though.

This! Texas and OU are equal, talentwise. Yet, Texas is an average 8-5 team every year.
