He was so calm during all the build up then he won he seemed very calm as well. I expected more emotion but, just as during games, he was level and composed. He is a very low-key guy which is unusual for players who have spent a lifetime being the best athlete on the field. I liked his composure

Did you expect him to act like a little girl?

How can anyone not like the guy.. positive attitude about football but mostly life in general… I’ve never seen him not smiling.. these are the kind of positive influenced people I like to hang around with.. happy for that kid Jayden.. rags to riches story just like Joe Burrow.. whose next on the list of greatness for LSU?…

I think he's shy and introverted. He talked about pushing himself to be a more vocal leader. Just seems like a very humble, likable young man.

He’s like Joe Burrow that way. He’s just wired differently. With people like him and Joe things are always moving slow for them. Jay Johnson talks about it in his players when he talks about slow heart beat.

I agree but it’s just more than that though. You can be those things and it effect your play on the field. Also a lot of introverted people are not shy.

Controlling one’s emotions is a rare but deadly trait.

rags to riches story just like Joe Burrow

Rags to riches? Joe was the son of a longtime D-1 coach. They were certainly not wearing “rags”. But even if you meant that is just a figurative sense, Daniels wasn’t a “rags to riches” story either. He was a big time recruit coming out of HS. He has a tremendous Freshman season at ASU that led many to think he was the next big time QB. His second season was cut to just a few games. He struggled on a mess of a team/program in 2021 before coming to LSU.

Daniels’s story is the complete opposite of Burrow’s. Burrow had to wait and wait for his chance. Daniels was a starter right out of the gate. He just got caught up in a dysfunctional program and needed a new team on which to fully reach the potential he showed as a freshman.

He's like a statue. We need firey coaches and QBs. Did I do it right?

Exactly what I want from our quarterbacks. Seems to be working quite well for us.

I would bet they have similar vision/processing to Dylan Crews. There was an interesting article about how athletes see and react to input. Like their brains are a high speed camera.

Winning the heisman don’t hit the same without the NC. Guess Daniel’s feels the same.

Do you know what rags to riches means Karen? Playing on shitty team before transferring doesn’t qualify. Fricking moron.
