Who's responsible for teaching the players to execute the plays? There you go.

Not all failures are equal. A dropped pass by a reliable receiver is very different than an Olineman being beaten by a more talented Dlineman is different than a QB getting happy feet after a couple hard hits.

The coaches are most responsible since they decide which players are brought into the program, teach the offense, correct errors and then decide which players get to play. Some responsibilty for failure usually lies with the player at varying degrees, but the bulk of it lies with the coaches. That’s just leadership.

dumb question. players are most definitely responsible for their execution. but some plays do not work because the defense stopped them. it could be because the wrong play was called because it was anticipated because of coaching tendencies and then it's really the coaches fault.

when your offense cannot make one yard given several tries on the goal line, you probably need better players. the coach is responsible for knowing how weak they are and should try a different play tho.

so who's burden does it fall on more? dumb question

There's been quite a few LSU games where I've been in favor of execution of the entire offense.

But in less emotionally charged moments, I'll concede that's a bit too harsh

Furthermore they are SEC teams with SEC caliber players. I suppose you clowns want to blame their lack of success last year on O too.

Who gets fired when a team loses too often? That's your answer whether you agree or not

Bill Parcells said players win games and coaches lose them. So that doesn't help your narrative out much at all.

For the O loyalists it's the opposite, coaches win games and players lose them.

O's pretty much undefeated at LSU when you look at it like that.

I'm going to guess your opinion on the matter is whatever allows O to take zero blame whatsoever for any failures last season and going forward.

Take a quick gander at the OP's post history. This is, without question, what is happening here.
