Not supporting it—just a pragmatic view of the situation we’re in.

I can’t wait until that buffoon is no longer our coach. The rest of the sec is praying he somehow survives.

LSU is in rebuild mode. We’ve had to rebuild after every championship. Saban followed up his championship year with 3 losses and was 1-3 against ranked teams. I’m excited to see if O can turn it around, and if he does I can’t wait to see next year.

You mean like carry him off the field, hear him say he’s changed only to find out he didn’t?

Somehow I feel LSU finally puts it together and looks like a legitimate football team Saturday night. All the ingredients for inspired football are there.

What number do you think is necessary to move on from O?
The first game in PIMger Stadium where the opposing team has a higher number of points than the home team.

I truly think USC will hire him. They had regrets not keeping O after LSU won the natty in ‘19. Woody might even waive his buyout to ease the deal and keep both parties happy.

We are in year 6. How does he need more time?

Again?

There is no reason for us to be in "rebuild mode" again. That's an excuse, not a reason.

The team would probably do better without his meddling.

This motherfricking right here. The proof is there in the Moo St. game. We go up 28-10 at the end of the 3rd quarter then Ed starts meddling into the offense we hang on and don’t score again. Dammit you hire coordinators well let them fricking Coach. Drops Mic

I do. I hope he got the shite with the divorce behind him. I hope the coordinators figure it out. I don’t want to start over. I want Brad Davis to recruit OL and get to teach them up.

Same here, I want this coaching staff to figure it out, and manage the recruiting process better.

He is not a program builder. He has no idea what to do.

Absolutely not . I was ready for the coaching changes board immediately after UCLA. Had a thread with who possible candidates could be.

They don’t get it CC, we just don’t want LSU to be constantly replacing coaches. Too much volatility can hurt recruiting.

Problem is before the 2019 season Ed O didn’t have high expectations. After 2019 everyone has championship expectations and after seeing us going through coordinators like Oters go through hookers and blow I don’t know if O can handle the pressure. I have got to see better or this is over after the season. We have talent and some good coordinators but damn it’s rough to watch

this is not 1998 son.

he WILL not be kept if he has a losing record and HE MAY be fired if he has another zook like year 4 or 5 losses.

This is a great take. We as fans should hope for that rally to happen. Rebuilds are never guaranteed and fail more often than not. We have been on the positive side of coaching hires twice now, and I'd rather just right the ship and keep moving forward than go through it again.

With that said, if this team can continue to piece it together, we have a favorable build up in schedule.

Auburn is absolutely a winnable game that LSU is favored in at this time, if I am not mistaken (haven't lost to them at home in a long time).

Kentucky on the road, while a tough test, is not as hostile as even Miss St. and if we are coming off of a win over Auburn, I'd say that we should be favored here as well.

That puts us at a possible 5-1 with a big game against Florida at home... Could make for some magic. Here's hoping we pull it together.

We’d be favored regardless. Kentucky has has two horrible outings against teams they should’ve dominated. That offense has caught the turnover bug.
