Game is also at 11am central. Always a chance for a first half fart in early games.

11am road games are different. 11am home game I could see that causing the team to come out flat but on the road earlier starts are somewhat expected.

This is my fear as well. I'm curious to see if we start conservatively on offense like we did last week, or if we come out throwing and bury them early.

LSU 27 Vandy 16

El - oh - frickin - El

Last place pass D vs. top 10 total offense, with the pass portion of that being ranked 2nd nationally...this points to a long day for Vandy...I do think we continue to tinker around issues (confusion in zone responsibilities, injuries, and suspensions) to get the D dialed in for upcoming games and could give up a few points BUT JB fittin to serve erbody on the O. LSU - 48 Vandy - 17. GGDT!

Why is it that LSU is the only team to be affected by the early start time?

I think it's a cliche and way overblown.

I know LSU had struggles in the past, but I think that was a Les Miles problem. I don't think they'll be struggling to get started any more or less than Vandy

I agree Vandy can surprise people. My biggest concern is all the D-linemen injured.

If we don't score 40+ I would be shocked. No way they put up that many points on us.

As fans, we are going to have to adjust to having a team that hangs big numbers on everyone and whose D is not the same as in years past.

mason is way too conservative in his offensive philosophy. they can't score like we can. even if they explode for 24 points, we'll score over 50.

Vandy - 126 rated passing defense
Purdue threw for 500 yards against them.
PURDUE!
Joe has another great stat game and Brennan gets some reps at the end.
LSU shouldn’t struggle at all here. Maybe a slow start with the early kick but they had a slow start last week and that turned out pretty good. This Vandy team is bad.

Keyshawn (sp?) Vaughn will run for like 200 against our Swiss cheese D. It’s gonna be like 45-31 Tigers. Let down game for sure.

Couple things wrong with this

-Vaughn hasn't been able to do anything to anybody behind that OL this year. He averaged less than 4 yards a carry vs Purdue

-LSU's run defense has been nothing close to "swiss cheese". Not only are we 18th in the country in run D, that rank includes playing against a triple option team that averaged less than 2 ypc vs LSU. That Georgia Southern team almost beat Minnesota @ Minnesota.

-the only let down is if they score more than 14 points. I expect LSU to win massively again and the run game to finally make an appearance after seeing what UGA did.

If we have trouble with this game, we can forget doing anything worth a shite this season.

Vandy won't be able to stop our offense dude. Did you see what Purdue did to them lol? We may score 60 on vandy. I'm not even kidding.

I expect a fairly easy win, just like I did when Cecil the Diesel lost a wheel and we lost in an early game over there 7-6.

If we only put up 27 vs Vandy, then everything we're hearing about the offense is a lie. A LSU Miles offense would put up more than 27 on this Vandy team.

We won that one 7-6 bro. Obviously a shitty game needing Vanxdy to implode on their PAT attempt, but still a win.

Again....a lot on here should not be worried about passing the ball the next two games.... we need to work on the running game.....
