Is really just how athletic he is when he needs to tuck and run. His passing ability causes us not to notice his running skills but the guy is amazing with the ball in hand.
Once in generations player on and off the field.

Still remember that spin move he put on the auburn defender on the sideline this past year to pick up the first. Remember thinking why that play didnt get talked about more

Yeah that was pretty awesome.
The one that got me posting is rewatching the Oklahoma game where Clyde got taken out and the dude was ejected.

I got really frustrated every time the announcer would say he’s “deceptively fast.”

What do you mean by deceptively?

He’s fast. What is deceptive about speed?

It’s something they say about white players and it’s stupid. Just like saying a black player is “well spoken” or something. Why let racial stereotypes of white players being slow affect you when you are a PROFESSIONAL ANNOUNCER???

He juked the hell out of a Georgia defender in 2018 as well. Loved that play.

Let’s face it- Joe was the best player to put on the purple and gold. I am extremely happy I got to see him play in person multiple times. Definitely something I will tell my children about.

Matt Jones was deceptively fast too. His legs aren't moving very fast but he's hauling arse.

The Honey Badger was like that. He is 5'9" but knew how to defend, ran fast, and has incredible instincts. He has mastered the unteachable skills and I think that is what makes Joe such a legit star.

Bengals need to take it slow and build up that O-Line though

He had two of the most productive seasons rushing statistically in 2018 and 2019 by an LSU QB in the past 20 years. He only trails Jordan Jefferson in single season yardage.

Long strides maybe but Joe can definitely get it when he wants a first down I surely wouldn’t want to get in his way.

He's not fast, agile or supremely athletic. What you see when he slides in the pocket or tucks and runs is an innate ability to feel pressure and not panic, exceptional peripheral vision and an elite ability to rapidly process information.

The game has slowed down for him and he's like a chess master seeing 5 moves ahead. He's less superman and more spiderman with his spidey senses and ability to see what's coming. Lastly he prepares/studies relentlessly. Cincy staff noted that a couple weeks before the draft Burrow already had their playbooks and was prepping to compete for the starting job.

Cincy may not become a playoff contender, but it won't be because of Burrow.

Well joe didn’t have the benefit of that short side option that got called at least once every series either.

Honestly, the game that will always stick out in my mind was the A&M game we lost in 2018. Even though we lost, Joe was a beast. Became a mini Cam Newton running the ball right at the A&M defense. I think it was that game that told me how good he could be.

He isn't black. It's a deceptively racist comment.

He is most certainly fast. Is he a 4.4 guy? No, but I'd bet a lot of money he's as fast, if not faster, than Rodgers.

Of course he isn't fast compared to true skill players. But he'd dust most NFL quarterbacks in a race.

He definitely doesn’t like to slide that tells you a lot about him as a player
