There's probably a 5% chance that the backups can give you a better result...at best.
The right answer is to continue to work with Leavitt. He's probably not going to develop into a great passer. But, FFS, he should be capable of making some of the plays he's missing. And, he's making other plays that very few players can make.
It's never going to look pretty. But, people who are saying to move on from Leavitt are ridiculous, IMO.

I think he needs to develop to the point he runs only and purely as a last resort. Meaning that he’s a pass-first player who can bail you out with his legs only when it’s a last-case scenario.
But it’s an easy habit to get into to think about running all the time. I won’t say it’s a bad one as it definitely is a positive at times, but he needs to work on dropping back and staying back.
It took Daniels a while to get there. I’m sure they’re trying with Leavitt; it just doesn’t come about in a week or two. Missing reps is very unhelpful for him
