I think the Play of the Year was 3 & 17 in Austin

To me personally, it was special. It represented what I think LSU has done this year. No more conservative offensive play calls. This play just screamed: "frick it, we'll do it live!" All those years of frustration with an old offense, conservative plays, and not playing to win in big games.

It was also when many of us said to ourselves "Holy frick boys we got a quarterback." (Although the 2018 Auburn game was when I knew we had a good one).

I’m with it just because of the shock factor. We haven’t seen execution like that in a long time.

By the time Joe was breaking UGA ankles and slinging the ball for 70... we knew he was and will keep doing it.

Absolutely.
Justin Jefferson, First Team All TigerDroppings.
He won't get snubbed here.

Not going to disagree, looking back, it set the tone for the year. Everything since then has been; yeah, that’s just Joe.....

Watching the UT fans’ mass exodus after that play was hilarious. I look at the clock and am like “guys there is still lots of time...” and sure enough, it was a nail biter to the end.

That is when I knew that Joe wouldn't let LSU lose.

That was a great play.

BUT...

so was 3rd and 5 in 4thQ in Tuscaloosa with LSU at the bama 40. Huge rush and Bama player grabbed Joe but he got off a wobbler anyway, to CEH who somehow made it to a first down.

That was a very important play that helped us win in Tuscaloosa.

That's Heisman moment! We'll see that play again tomorrow night when Burrow wins the Heisman by landslide.

I was there and it was glorious. Whole place thought they were about to get the ball back and score, but nah.

That was an incredible play, but the most important play of the year was Joe's third down throw to CEH under pressure in Tuscaloosa, which CEH plucked off his shoe strings and then juked and steamrolled his way to an improbable first down. Without that play, Bama is likely in the playoffs instead of us.

The rear view of that play is even more amazing. You get a good view of Joe’s amazing throw almost leaning on his lineman. Just crazy.

Clyde made a huge blitz pickup on the MLB that made it all possible.

there are several plays which I thing define the season, I would argue any of them.

it is nice to have this argument in December, isnt it? instead of the "what if" game, the usual frustrated bullshite we have dealt with for so long

Yep. Plus we had coaches that were not going to run a draw play, punt and play prevent defense.

CEH catch and run against a Bama huge as well

To see it live was SURREAL. Definitely one of those "you had to be there" moments
