I don’t buy that, considering in most games our start has been when the offense has looked semi competent. It’s when the scriot ends Steve has nothing.

I said the other day E kinda reminds me of Clemson Kevin Steele. Prepares well during the week, good script, then once disaster strikes he just loses it.

Think of how the offense was humming at UF, he dials up an awful first down throw (we werr MAULING them in the run game and were about to break their will) then Burrow throws a pick and all that rhythm goes out the window and other than Brossette’s long run we never really found flow in the run game again.

Even our first two plays vs bama were beautifully designed, then a negative play follows and he loses the plot.

Auburn was similar too to an extent. Good start, doldrums follow, then a spectacular play from Burrow/Dillon and terrific defense get us back in it.

Don’t need an analyst. Need a coordinator with better scheme.
Offense needs more than “tweaking”.

why is sean salisbury even being considered for this staff? it is embarrassing that they believe bringing him in would help the offense. we need legit qualified coaches. he must be one of orgeron's buddies; that doesn't help anything.

So a guy that’s never been an OC is gonna turn the offense around?

“ he’s obviously the guy”

Wait, we have an OC but he’s struggling to get the job done so let’s hire someone else to coach with him to prop him up?

Another question. What exactly has SE done in his career as an OC which would document him as a genius?

He would have been on staff this season had the NCAA not shot it down due to his QB academy.

F all of that. Tell E to step down to TE or retire. Go and drop a bag on Kendal Briles and tell him to bring whoever he wants as his offensive staff.

Y’all are just shooting the messenger at this point. I don’t care if lsu hires this guy or not.

I just thought the way he talked was interesting.

So instead of having ONE first-rate OC, we’ll keep adding shadow staff to cover for the OC we have. Brilliant.

Starts thread while listening to shitty radio show to say he thinks Salisbury will be on staff next year, could put offense into 21st century as an analyst, and he knows his stuff.

Gets pissy when rightfully called out on several points in post.

Has no actual rebuttal to the majority of questions regarding his points.

“well gosh guys, I don’t care if they hire him or not”

Did I miss anything?

You missed a lot. Let’s start with an easy one. Please link specifically where I endorsed Salisbury coaching at lsu?

But. But. You started the thread so that must mean that you are all in on Salisbury.

I don’t get it

If I were endorsing him id actually care about trying to figure out what QBs he has coached or defending him. I’m certainly not doing it because justice asked me.
