No, they didn’t. If they were engaged in this activity at all, they had assistants and intermediaries doing the dirty work. The point is that the lack of penalties directly against other head coaches tells us nothing about what would/will happen to Wade because the circumstances and evidence are materially different.

I was simply repeating the wording contained in the OP and explaining why it was the assistants and not the head coaches getting penalized. I was making no claims about what specifically will or should happen to Wade.

Everyone is focused on the payments to players/girlfriends/etc … yeah we get it, it happens everywhere. Why isn’t anyone acknowledging that Wade lied to his boss and employer and refused to cooperate? That alone is grounds for dismissal and immediately creates a trust issue.

This is an insane thread. AD’s will hire anyone if they believe that person will win and have a reasonable shot to keep the program off probation.
Ole Miss just hired Beard a guy who hit, bit and choked a bitch just a few months ago.
This isn’t an LSU or Woodward issue. AD’s are cut throat win at almost ANY cost types.
Wade isn’t only untouchable from LSU no other AD from a major or even a mid major program wouId touch him. He’s at a one bid bottom feeder league at arguably the worst program in that league.
This isn’t some Woodward led conspiracy. No one literally no AD was willing to risk hiring Wade at this point.
Do y’all really believe that AD’s would have passed on Wade (All of them at every major and mid major program) if there wasn’t a greater risk to hiring him than not?
I get some folks here love Wade more than LSU but damn at least be honest about it.
Wade is untouchable at the moment. He may get back to a big job. I hope he does. But this isn’t a deal where Woodward was the only AD in America thought Wade was a problem. It’s literally every single AD in the country.

Our current coach may or may not be the right guy, but the program will be moving forward without Will Wade. It sucks, because I enjoyed watching him coach LSU.

Of course it is bullshite. It doesn’t even made any sense on any level. It is a damn lie made up by Jordy Culotta. Probably being told to him by Wade himself.
