I think if we dont turn it over its gonna be tough for them to win.

Ole miss is gonna get everything in the offense. All of it. I dont think we have really much shown the Treydez heavy part of the offense yet.

Oh sure it is. Take off the P&G glasses.

Let’s look objectively then. Last year they made the Semis and this year their national title odds are way lower. Why? Because they have a worse roster

Our offensive line is horrible. There’s that.

Did you think that last week?

Hence Vegas thinking we win.

I’m on the app trying to make a bet on LSU -2.5 and the app kicks me out and closes the bet because the line moved to LSU -3. Money has got to just be ROLLING in on LSU

Do they? Any offense with Chambliss, Lacy and Alexander is still damn good. Objectively that’s better than we have until proven otherwise.

So three out of 22 starters are better, and that makes Ole Miss the better team?

Chambliss, Lacy and Alexander are really good, and I’ll give Ole Miss the advantage at quarterback and running back. But LSU has the advantage at most of the other positions on the field, along with the better overall coaching staff.

LSU has the No. 8 roster in the Talent Composite compared with Ole Miss at No. 14. LSU already has 12 sacks to their four and is allowing 2.8 yards per play compared with 6.1.

Ole Miss may have the better proven backfield, but that doesn’t mean they have the better team.

I'm thinking if we take Ole Miss as seriously as we took LA Tech we gonna get beat by 10

Why do you think it was not serious?

Straight up I think Tigers win by 7 but you never know who is gonna give up BIG plays. That is what we need to avoid.

LSU also had a BS pass interference call on a pick six.

You do understand I'm saying Ole Miss should have won that game by 17+ at minimum, right?

We need to run the ball well. That’s the key. I think we will. Ole Miss is suspect on run defense.

Can’t take anything from this week IMO.

Bingo. For either team. You know, as much as both coaching staffs and teams say you take it one game at a time, everybody and their mothers have been looking ahead to next week.

I wouldn't be surprised if last week's offensive prep was "This 3-3-5 is gonna frick yall up. Anyway, here's what we're gonna do against Ole Miss..." Not really, I just don't think they would put all the time and energy into film study and prep needed to fully understand that defense in one week for one game.

We definitely overlooked Tech because of Ole Miss

They also overlooked Charlotte

Am I missing something or is it really this simple?

Sometimes it is that simple. Sometimes weird things happen. See all of Ole Miss’ 2024 losses as examples.

This is true about last year but our defense is MUCH improved. Don’t give up big plays we win, easier said than done!
