Yes its on the road. Yes they have TRO Chambliss and Lacy. Outside of those things.... IT's on LSU to be the big dog and Win.

1. Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss to win Bigger
2. LSU is the bigger dog.
3. We took their coaches off their staff with us. Weis and Kevin Smith notably
4. We spent nearly 50 million overhauling our roster immediately.
5. Feels like the SEC is all against LSU and would be universally mocked if we lost.
6. We running digital and aerial campaigns.
7. There's NO justifiable comfort in LSU and Lane Kiffin going to Ole Miss on Saturday and coming away with a LOSS.

Any post hiding this obvious Pressure and Expectation upon LSU is not living in reality.

Both teams have immense pressure. Anything you say otherwise is hogwash.

We win and their program is crushed.

They win and we get clowned constantly.

Both teams have expensive rosters.

Absolutely not. Golding is on step One of his performance plan as soon as the clock hits zero with an L.

that's wishful dreaming. Crushed would mean that they would be falling from a place that you are admitting that they are at. But they aren't actually at that elevation. Its nearly a win for them to make this an extremely competitive game.

bullshite.

Ole Miss is destroyed if they lose. This is as good as they can be. They have the best QB. They have the best RB. They have everything that they will ever have. If they lose, it's proof that the concept does NOT work.

On the other hand, this is LSU's first year with Kiffin. This is LSU's first year with Weis. This is LSU's first year with Leavitt. Kiffin's building something here. It hasn't been built yet. Kiffin came to LSU for a long time, not just a good time. As Stephen A. Smith said, Kiffin didn't come for one game or one season. He came to win championships.

I can't imagine how joyful the rest of LSU's season will be with a loss to Ole Miss right now either.

That and only one other loss, and LSU is in the playoffs.

Everybody is dancing.

This is such a stupid talking point. Ole Miss spent a ton of money too, and they had to pony up $7m for just Chambliss and Lacy who are both gone after the season. They HAVE to win now, LSU/Lane would very much like to win now but he came here understanding that it might be a process.

For LSU no they don’t, this is a long play…for Ole Miss this is their one shot with an elite QB with a solid team, after this Petey will not be able to recruit like Kiffin, players went to Ole Miss because of Kiffin, any other coach outside of Saban, Ole Miss couldn’t pull the same talent not even in the NIL era…

Their slow slide has begun…

so, we still spent a good bit MORE. The total investment in Firing Brian Kelly, Hiring Lane Kiffin, Keeping Blake Baker, Hiring the Remaining Staff, and the financial commitment to a 50 million dollar roster that is pretty much only guaranteed a year a time.... the financial aspect is nothing to overlook what LSU has done and should expect a RESULT of beating Ole Miss tomorrow.
