Tre Harris got hurt in '24 ole miss game and didn't return after missing a dunk IIRC. Certainly a factor in LSU ultimately prevailing that glorious night.
a few years ago, a ND player and also a UGA player tore ACLs doing the stupid "jumping chest bump."

Didn't Kiffin say he liked to have something on the sideline for the players to let the players celebrate, etc and let's them choose. This is what they chose.
If think it's cool, so be it.
Plus, Golding made a wise crack about it so keep it if irritates that Pete "Booger" Golding.

Yeah...I don't like it either. Its too flimsy and had that ugly paw print on it

When I first saw it, I thought it was a Clemson paw print and that they were cracking on Clemson‘s logo. I really didn’t like it too much either on the sidelines, but it is what it is.

Go buy a basketball goal, set it up in your driveway and throw down a few windmill slams in your Sam Leavitt jersey. It may change your outlook on it.

You know these players all fly around campus on scooters going 25 mph without helmets? And play actual pickup basketball games?

Do you like everything about your wife? Your kids? Your favorite vacation spot? Your job?

Of course not. But in TOTALITY you do and you’ve probably learned the wisdom of focusing on the things you do love. Do that here.

I like the basketball goal way more than I would squeaking by Louisville. Whatever makes the players have fun and win is good with me.

I love it and what's most important so do the players and coaches. Heck even Lane made an attempt of a three pointer and almost sunk it. It's great for the moral and motivation so I support it all the way to the Championship.

I think it’s cool and if I were a college football player I’d love it.

It’s not like our team is undisciplined or reckless. We haven’t seen a team look that mature, professional or composed in years.
