I saw Dylan Carpenter playing in 4th quarter.

Savion got banged up early 4th and they brought in Carpenter for the series. He seemed to get some good push and almost had a sack. He was back in later in the 4th when game was in hand. Has he moved up the depth chart or was someone injured? It would be great if he could be a rotation guy next year.

I think something went on with Womack. He would be in the DE spot opposite of Reliford.

Didn’t Womack get banged up a couple weeks back? Maybe I’m misremembering. ..

He didn’t make the trip to FL and why that was never did really get addressed (to my knowledge, at least). Seems like he’s in the dog house.

Maybe if Womack is in the doghouse that’s all that’s going on. If Womack transfers out Reliford will be our only true DE who has played a lot returning. Hopefully Carpenter has progressed. Even so they would need to find 2 or 3 more.

Think he’s getting processed and will hit the portal.

Wasn’t he suspended for a game for lack of effort ?

He was suspended for the Florida game and hasn't played since. Using context clues, I think it's pretty likely he has played his last down at LSU

He had a tailor-made ad campaign for him here locally:

We could overlook the spelling difference.

Dylan has been the forgotten man by many ; but he has been solid when given the chance. No doubt he should be in the rotation next season.

He was credited 2 tackles in the game. I kinda had forgotten about him. Hope he gets more work in the bowl game and takes that next step next year.

Hopefully he puts a more weight on. He was looking a little thin out there

Good length but was getting knocked off the ball fairly easily. Just not strong enough for this level

I think carpenter can be a rotation guy for sure.

I've been waiting for him to get snaps

Agree about Carpenter. Saw some good push and then what really impressed me was running to the sideline to help clean up a tackle after he started upfield. He looks athletic with some bounce which is EXACTY what we need at DE. He and Womack (if he returns) look solid at DE, but I would still add an impact portal name for the rotation.

Agree. He moves well for 260. He looks like he could still gain a little weight to.
