I also remember that qb not getting set in the pocket and wanting to take off as soon as the ball was snapped. Let’s give our boy some time, he has the skills he just needs to calm tf down back there. FITFO Lane!

Everyone thought he sucked until that 11am game at Miss St

The player you speak of was very timid because he did not want to throw an interception. Once he threw his 1st int of the season against Tennessee he did great. Leavitt. Leavitt is just bad.

I agree. Sam is coming back from a major injury and also realizing the speed difference in SEC. He still shows flashes of brilliance. Let’s ride.

Our issue with JD wasn’t he couldn’t hit open wide open receivers it was he was scared to throw it deep.

Regardless of how any previous QB were their 1st year.... I've never seen a QB consistently miss WIDE OPEN receivers. I mean it's quite pathetic for this dude to be paid over $4million and not be able to make throws I could make easily.

Remember, Sam missed half of last season and spring. Hopefully he rounds into better form. But he definitely needs to improve or it won't be a good year.
