So many people keep drawing these parallels. JD and Burrow never looked erratic with absolutely horrid mechanics.
Also, both of them had not been away from football for 8 months due to injury.
Daniels was scared shitless to not throw a pick. He was shelled shocked from ASU throwing 10 picks the season before.
Compare the Oline and weapons both had.
It takes all 11 working as a unit. LSU had riches at Wr depth.

Sick of hearing the injury excuse. Sure, it explains being rusty. But three games in and Leavitt displays a lot more than just rust.

Yes, JD was scared to let it fly his first season here. But he never displayed the horrible elementary level mechanics that I’ve seen from Leavitt so far.

Daniels was shite. He was sacked and cost LSU 2 games as a result.

So you’re saying a QB that was fully healthy and played a bunch of snaps the season before and during spring and fall vs one that didn’t doesn’t have an advantage?
Leavitt had no fricking spring and little summer . This game is about chemistry and timing so in game timing with your receivers. Which none could hold a candle to these 5 guys

Nabers
All I’ve see are guys that are not great route runners a get jammed. It will be evident this week again without Green.

correct. neither did either miss seeing wide open guys. JD issue was he saw the receivers he was just scared to throw it. CBK said as much.
not seeing them like SL is a complete different issue like we had with JJ and marcus randall.

None of this has anything to do with his bad fundamentals. In each game he’s done mind boggling things, multiple times per game, that you learn to not do in middle school. These problems are way more than just not having spring and summer practices to build chemistry with the WR’s.
