Trey primarily came in to block on run plays. You have no idea what you're talking about. He had no drops this year.

Quinn has to play better, his lack of playing time was not totally because of scheme. He had too many drops, has trouble getting off the line, and is a poor blocker.

Which of our receivers didn't have too many drops and trouble getting off the line? The problem seemed universal, which indicates a problem with their coaching. Looking at you, Tony Ball.

IF used correctly, Trey is a great "move the chains" threat..

He can be great over the middle because he runs such crisp routes, the problem is LSU doesn't have crossing routes in their route tree.

He's the best blocking WR on the team. He was often put in for running formations because he could clear DBs out for Fournette.

Do you guys even watch the games before posting here?

And how about that motor? Guy really gets after it at practice.

He has been given opportunities and he drops too many. He was a stud WR in a system in high school. He is a high school legend. He isn't a top threat for us and if he wants to go to a system that he can do better in then I doubt we miss him much because we don't throw enough.

He was a very good blocker this year and had zero drops this year. Serious question....where do y'all come up with such bullshite. You can have an opinion but you can't change facts.

Sounds just as ridiculous as someone calling him a stud at LSU when he hasn't shown a lot. It's not all his fault and think we all realize that. Not trying to bash him but if he transfers we'll be okay. LSU has a ton of talent in that position now and incoming.

He sure impressed at the bowl game. No reason that he can't be included more regularly in our passing game instead of throwing prayers to Dupre

Quinn's route running ability is what got him so much early PT last year ahead of Dupre. It isn't just a stereotype because he is white.

Perhaps more important than his downfield speed is Quinn's ability to shift gears when cutting into a crossing pattern. His precision route running stands out several times on tape and it routinely leaves defenders eating dirt in Quinn's wake, especially when they're anticipating a seam route.

Again, the issue is that LSU hardly runs any crossing routes. It's almost all curls, digs or go's.

You're awfully sensitive. I made legitimate criticisms of Quinn. Not "attacks". And that last post is a sarcastic running joke on the Rants love for Quinn..

You are really getting your panties in a wad.

Quinn is an excellent combination of quickness and functional strength. He does not have great long speed, but is quick in and out of his cuts the create separation in the short and mid-levels. Quinn is hard to press because of his strength and length as well, which allows him quick releases into his routes.

And the routes he runs are very, very good. You can tell that Quinn has worked on his route running, as he tries to make every route look the same. He also sits down well against zone coverage, presenting a big target to his quarterback.

It's almost like everyone of his strengths coming into LSU is exactly how LSU is not using him. Another example of LSU recruiting a kid with a certain skill set, then misusing his talent/strengths.
