I asked yesterday about Quinn regretting Clemson and was chastised for it. Some people or just so fickle on here!

Trey Quinn to Baylor has been a done deal for several months.

Another example of LSU recruiting a kid with a certain skill set, then misusing his talent/strengths.

i have no clue why LSU recruited him other than the geography of where he played HS

i have no clue why TQ chose to play for LSU, either (and he's a really smart kid) knowing what we all know about LSU's offense

this was never going to work and tyron johnson is going to have similar issues in our offense

Since Harris' request to have Cam on the field was abided, maybe he could also ask for more shotgun formations and 3 WR sets? I don't see any reason why Quinn can't be more involved in the offense given Harris improves, and with that improvement, more trust, and with that trust, more opportunities to throw the ball.

I think we could see Mettenberger Year 2 numbers next season with Harris.

i just want more 3 WR sets to open up our running game and give us better passing options with creativity

but that is basically the opposite of how les wants to run an offense so it won't happen

I like Quinn, but I can understand his departure. His main competition is Tyron or Chark and I don't think he beats either out.

Here is something I believe I have observed with our offensive scheme.

I don't think its necessarily the amount of WR's when Fournette gets the advantage, but you also need to spread your OL atimes when you put out the 3 WR sets.

If you have 3 WR, but you're OL are still 2 inches from eachother, the holes will be just as big as the I-Formation/wall-smash/iron curtain styled plays with the two TE's and FB, but you'll have obviously less blocking at the point of attack.

I think that's why you saw times where LSU had 1 on 1 match-ups in the trenches, but Fournette would get brought down by an outstretched arm.

When spreading the OL out they would probably need to employ some sort of screen to keep the defense honest, maybe a quick bubble screen/slant route, or a screen to Fournette.

Finally someone says it. His 2 drops last year against Bama has put everyone in the mindset that he has no hands. He has caught every ball that has been thrown his way this year, besides the god awful on-the-run throw by harris in the bowl game.

More receivers will want to transfer when the only pass plays we do are on 3rd and long and are deep bombs to either Dural or Dupre

Trey primarily came in to block on run plays. You have no idea what you're talking about. He had no drops this year.
And he only had 2 of note last year. The one at Alabama that he absolutely should have caught, and another at Bama that would have been a great catch if he had made it.

Where this BS comes from that he drops too much is misperception.

He has been given opportunities and he drops too many.
I challenge you to name a game other than Alabama last year where he had a notable drop.

Chark hasnt beat out Quinn in the two years they have been at LSU. Quinn will most likely beat him out again in the spring and fall

If Dural leaves, Chark is the vertical threat. Johnson in the slot.

If what I read was correct, he had some vision problems and once his doctor took care of this, it should have cleared itself up..

With that reception the other night, it looks as if it was.

Big catch in a big moment of the game. Chark and Quinn both have 1 big play in their first 2 years. I expect both to continue to improve and make plays for us.

1) ZERO drops this year; and two total last year (in one game);
2) Do you even watch the games? Getting off the line is NOT his problem;
3) Clearly you don't pay attention to anything other than the ball itself. Watch more football.
