First of all, I predicted and fully supported the Brian Kelly hire. I want to publicly admit I was wrong.

Let’s all be honest here we knew who he was. If you had any connections in the college football you heard the stories and knew that coach Kelly is a terrible human being responsible for the death of a student video assistant, Declan Sullivan. This was so bad it have easily lead to criminal charges, but for than the fact that his parents were such a big Catholics and Notre Dame supporters. Declan Sullivan If you have stomach for it google the kids last video. It’s heart wrenching. I would have probably killed the mfer if it were my son.

We also knew that he directly was involve in the cover up of a forcible rape that resulted in a Notre Dame coed committing suicide. He is a terrible fricking person. But we didn’t give a frick, we were desperate. After the debacle left to us by Bebe completely going “loco” and essentially quitting midstream we were desperate. We needed a disciplinarian and a hard arse motherfricker in charge. We essentially Auburned it. (Bring in a devil you don’t know how to fight the devil that you do know. (Saban and his army of darkness aka SEC))

Last year it looks like we struck gold, but I think we are beginning to realize now it’s completely fools gold.

What so many people on here refused to acknowledge, partly because he was so goofy acting is that Les Miles in the beginning, was actually a perfect coach for LSU. He was much warmer, and at least we thought family oriented the Nick Saban, but behind that he was a strict disciplinarian. When he was the “mad hatter” he actually had a winning record against Saban and won a Natty. After the pick six Lee season, he went super conservative and outside of one spectacular season basically was Nicks whipping boy. But to his credit, his teams always played hard, physical ball and if he would’ve just not been so stubborn and modernized his offense, he probably still be coaching LSU today. One thing his team wasn’t is pussies.

We all thought we were getting a hard arse tough coach coming to us for one last attempt at a national championship, but that’s a façade.

And his first season he was just like the good Les miles, the “mad hatter.” But now that’s completely worn out and we’re getting the stubborn shitty Les Miles except the defense is the disaster. This is exactly the pattern that we were warned about by Notre Dame fans.

What is both startling and shocking to myself, as well as all the LSU football alum I know including my brother, uncles, cousin’s, etc is that CBK is a complete pussy that doesn’t even pretend to give a shite about his players.

The complete lack of reaction, outrage or anything after Daniels was knocked out of the game, and possibly the rest of the season by a light illegal hit, that wasn’t even reviewed for targeting was not only discerning, but devastating.

Additionally, the fact that not one single teammate came to his aid or seem to express any emotion whatsoever over the situation tells us all we need to know about the Brian Kelly era. It also explains why he has never won the big game and never will win the big game.

Like it or not LSU is one of the places that is not simply a machine, but lives and breathes on emotion. This is true to such an extent that Saban has actually hired psychologist to teach Alabama how not to trigger the LSU’s emotional reaction. That’s how they beat us in the national championship game. Avoiding triggering LSU’s emotional reaction, which in those years was fueled by the honey badger. That is simply who we are, and that’s who we will always be as a people, a culture and a football team. We are not a machine like Alabama, and never will be. That’s why people like us and that’s why people like to play for us.
It’s our DNA.

There is none of that on this team and I suspect there’s not any of that in any Brian Kelly team ever, and never will be. That also completely explains why they get beat so bad. They simply give up because they don’t give a shite.

This will never work long-term at LSU and only works if you have vastly superior talent than your opponents. I hate to tell everybody, but that’s not happening anytime soon either.

We may beat Florida but I guarantee you we’re gonna get our arse kicked against Texas A&M again which should be unacceptable for this fan base. I’m sure everybody’s gonna be coming on here making excuses again we might as well get used too it. He is our Jimbo Fisher. (Both hired by Scott)

Next year may be a little better, but the ceiling is really low with CBK. I was wrong, I don’t see how he will never win a championship here. He isn’t anywhere near Nick Saban, he isn’t even close to Les Miles the mad hatter. He will not defend his players, will not stand up to Saban Bama and Texas soon enough but will be fat happy and rich at our expense. It’s not cultural it’s just that we aren’t machines and we aren’t pussies.

Now only question is when Scott figures this out. Again, let me admit I was totally wrong about CBK but I am not wrong in this thread.

Let me go take down my LSU flag in shame again. No shame in losing to bama this year. Complete utter humiliation in letting them threat you like a little bitch and piss on you afterwards. I thought CBK was a bad arse murdering Alpha Dog, turns out he is a little bitch.

Or the condensed version

I initially supported the Brian Kelly hire, but I've since realized my mistake. We were desperate for a strong leader after previous issues, but Kelly's lack of emotional connection with the team and players became evident. His handling of critical situations, like an injured player, raised concerns. LSU's culture thrives on emotion, and Kelly's approach lacks that vital element. His coaching style may work with superior talent, but it won't sustain long-term success at LSU. I fear he won't defend our players, stand up to tough opponents, or bring championships. My optimism was misplaced, and it's disheartening to witness.

Maybe not, but Woodward gives away the farm in these contracts and then we are stuck with these losers.

TLDR

There is no other Les Miles.

Kelly is a good coach. He will likely ride out the year with House then replace him.

Until he has another candidate, or a better option internally, why would he fire him now? To make the fans happy? If Kelly does everything "the fans" say he should be fired too.
