2019. LSU scores 2 TDs in 20 seconds to end first half. Joe went 18 for 20, for 252 yards and 3 TDs in the half.

We had to recover an onside kick to win the game. I'm not sure it could be considered an arse kicking. An arse kicking is what we did to Army and Grambling this year.

I don’t see the smugness, just honest recognition that Burrow and the 2019 Tigers were an elite team that couldn’t be stopped. I’ve been in his position from the opposite side when a great team is putting up points on LSU.

Two defensive breakdowns for long touchdowns and a long, somewhat flukey punt return for a touchdown. Aside from those scores it was a 59-minute, 46-21 arse-kicking. Period.

They had to recover it to have a chance to win the game. Our recovery denied them ANY chance to win.
