Yes they beat us in every aspect. Field goal percentage, three percentage, rebounding and free throw percentage. The only thing we beat them in was steals and fewer turnovers.
What mystifies me is how every year we recruit guys that have great three point percentages with prior teams but are abysmal when they play here. The latest example is McKinnon. How does a guy who shot over 50 per cent the previous years, come here and shoot 0-5 in a crucial game? And boy it seemed he shot a lot more than 5? For the year he is a little over 30% which just doesn't cut it. His replacement King is no better and contributes little. Isn't it time to give Zippur a chance? Without a good three point shooter in the modern game you are at a big disadvantage.

He’s a big Ed O worshiper so when Orgeron complained that Wade shouldn’t have gotten an extension before him PK went on the warpath because fans didn’t agree. He thought if MM won he could throw that in all those fans faces who didn’t take Orgerons side back then. That’s all this is

I get that but if you’re mad at people who don’t believe in a coach that has a lower than 25% win percentage in SEC play over 54 games you might not actually have a point. He’s not good enough, for those of us who are hoop heads and know where he comes from so we knew this would happen it’s even more frustrating that people not only don’t see it but attack us for being right.

Yep one coach has a worst finish of a NIT, 4 straight tournys, a sweet 16, sec title and had the best record in the sec for four years.
The other is 14-40, his best season matches the first coaches worst season. Responsible for 2/3 of the worst seasons in our history and gets blown out over and over.
Pirate likes the second guy and hates the first

Can’t we call them both weirdos?

Oh right!… we are blind. But so so blind to know that you dumb motherfrickers are just waiting around to whine, bitch, and moan about the same old shite over and over and over. Sometimes, just shutting the actual frick up is the best that you can do. But I am certain you can’t control yourself… can’t wait for you to regale us with some more of your “wisdom”.

There is hope. I remember when the women's games were played in empty stadiums and they had to get school kids to show up on field trips to have some warm bodies. All it took was to hire the right coach to change it.

Today was tough…. Struggled off the bat, tech couldn’t miss from 3. Every time lsu started chipping away tech would hit another 3. Still excited for next weekend in New Orleans. I think at home they will win some games. The road will be brutal.

This sums up how low McMahon has sunk the standard for success. Annihilated by a solid team. Hoping to play well vs a mid tier ACC team. Hoping to win a few games at home. Acknowledging they will get drummed on the road consistently (and why not considering McMahon has exactly 4-23 on the road in SEC play).
The only bright spot is that Scott Woodward’s useless arse is no longer in charge of LSU athletics so the AD can actually end this 4 year waste of time at the end of the season

The OP im guessing is referring to Ramezan…who funny enough berated dennis allen for sucking at every chance, like weekly. So its funny how different he is about this. But then again, think that dude is paid by lsu

It’s bizarre. I think support is not out of actual belief in the coach, but the desperate hope to be able to say they “proved everyone wrong.”
My suggestion is to Stop making accurate points, it gets nowhere’s on the rant for basketball. The average lsu fan is content in hoping the team sucks so their genius opinion is right, like you stated. Or they forget the season isn’t 12 games and 2 losses doesnt mean post season hope is eliminated. Lastly, they’re black or white, if the team isn’t elite, they have nothing but negativity for a university they claim to support. Once again, this doesnt apply to all but to a majority. Thanks for your articulation on the matter.
