He loves the team that pays him the most. This unconditional love does not exist. He likes LSU, but he's not the supporter some of you seem to believe.

Is Mack Brown a great ambassador for Texas? Lou Holtz for ND? Mark May for Pitt?

All these guys have moved on, as has Les. I don't think Les being on ESPN would mean a thing for LSU.

He definitely fits because those that can, do...those that can't, flap their gums on ESPN.

Yes, they are very good for the schools to have in their corner. Think Holtz has ever said a bad word about Notre Dame? Think Mark May would trash Pitt the same way he did LSU?
What about Ryan Clark, Shaq, Ben Mcdonald, Marcus Spears? never hurts to have your brand out there. these guys make LSU look good whether you realize it or not.

I think we think this because we know they're LSU guys. But the average viewer doesn't focus on that, or even know it.

Could care less about Les.
Just glad he won't be on the sidelines coaching at LSU.

The dinbasses are on this board. Les Miles has more class in his little finger than all of you all combined. The man graduated with a degree in business. I doubt many of you could get out of remedial clssses there. So, he is whimsical, he can handled himself myself in front of a camera more than you self important a-holes, Yes, he deserved to be lee go because of coaching, but to drag him the mud on the other stuff is just cowardly and classless!! You sports bar heroes would piss all over yourselves if you got in front of s camera !!

nobody has said that Les doesn't have class or is uneducated.

We're just saying he doesn't speak in a clear and coherent manner, based on 11 years of observation.

It's just going to be hard for anyone to dispute that.

Seeing him every Saturday will just piss me off with the talent he squandered the last 5 years. Can you imagine him saying something along the lines of...the run is being shite down they need to attack them through the air...I may break my tv

He sounds that way when he's trying to make sure he doesn't tip his hand.

He won't have to worry about that as an analyst.
