Everyone on here was saying the exact same stuff before the 2018 game like they are now, and then we got routed 29-0 and people on here lost their minds. Last three times Saban's played in Tiger Stadium we've gotten destroyed. People need to quit buying into the BS hype and understand that this team isn't complete enough and consistent enough to beat Bama. Just enjoy the game for what it is and see how we do. But don't expect a win.
I don’t think anyone is expecting a win you dickbag. We’re excited to be playing for tops in the SECW and have an opportunity to give them a hell of a game and a chance to win if a few things go our way

I am actually expecting a win, as I do each week. I would rather expect a win each week and be disappointed sometimes, than be like some of the chicken Little’s on here that are scared to think we might have a chance. Hopefully our players expect to win also. We are 10 times better than Texas and they could have beat them. If that same team shows up, we will run them out of the stadium.

The difference is stretching the field is part of the attack this year. It’s not just Bama but basically any good defensive team in the SEC — you can’t be one dimensional.
We’ve been anything but that lately. Also, quit putting Bama on a pedestal. We’ve had almost as many ridiculous teams as they have the past decade. They’re beatable most years.
They have massively benefitted from a-hole offensive coaches at LSU both on the field and the recruiting trail over that same time period.
We are at home. Kelly 11-1 off BYEs. Go right ahead and set yourself up baw, this is going to be a game.

So you are pretty much saying that LSU isn’t even on the same level as 3-4 A&M?
Because they went toe to toe with Alabama the entire game and almost won.

The way I look at it, last year’s team almost pulled one out at Bama and this team is much better and way better coaches and it’s at home. Anything can happen so we might as well enjoy the next two weeks.

Keep that sad arse bunk to yourself, Assling.

Why not be optimistic? I will be optimistic because the game has to be played and not decided on paper.

Bama lost to UT by three. UT beat the brakes off LSU.
The transitive property doesn’t really mean shite in CFB. Our wins vs Florida in 2020 and A&M last year are prime examples of that.

Our secondary is gonna get pasted! No doubt. But we just may be able to score with them. I don't see us getting blown out again in Tiger stadium this year. Kelly is a good coach and we will have a good game plan. Another unfortunate is that Bamas D is getting focused. We can think Tennessee for that.

I was at the game in 2018. Yes, we were talking a big game back then but in the back of my mind I knew we didn’t have the offense to keep up with them. I remember that morning before the game trying to figure out ways we could pull out this win and I was finding very few. That is not the case two weekends from now. I feel completely different. I went back and watched our game versus Ole Miss and on that 42-3 run I was seriously getting some 2019 vibes from that team. It was total domination. They were literally winning almost every single play. And with a weeks rest and this staff having a chance to game plan for two weeks I feel like it’s gonna be a long night for Alabama.

When I start to feel this way I try to remember that you got a locker room full of dudes who wanna win the game for LSU more than me. They will do all they can to win, and that’s all we can ask. And we will have their backs if they lose.

We almost beat them at their house with max fricking Johnson and they had way better WR talent

Big difference in expecting a win against a much deeper team than going in thinking we don’t have a chance
