That's your reply to me saying Jay Johnson's pitching moves this game have been pretty bad?

Do you not agree with that statement?

No one’s defending this season.
They’re defending one of, if not the best, coach in college baseball. If that truth escapes you, this may be the wrong sport for you.

What great pitcher did Jay have when he took Arizona to the CWS finals?

His ace was Chase Silseth and his 5.65 ERA

These threads are always the worst. Every championship coach in history needed good players to win.

Pal, you're the one who made Arizona, who has the 6th most NCAA tournament appearances of all time, to be some bottom of the barrel baseball program.

where did I say that? Please quote it. All I said is that they hadn’t made the tournament in 4 straight seasons until Jay’s 1st season.

It was 3 seasons - 2013, 2014, 2015

And Johnson is obviously a good coach, but there's no need to act like he's a miracle worker who turned a bottom tier baseball program around. Arizona is a top program who was in a year 3 slump.

What about:

Everyone in 2023

Milam
Brown
Jones
Curiel
Stanfield
Dickinson
Braswell

Holman
Jump
Eyanson
Gervase
Cowan
Herring
Ack
Cooper

Like I don't even know what argument you're trying to make here.

Let's take a look at what you were posting last June: Was 2023 to Jay Johnson what 2019 was to Ed Orgeron?

Then, he won another national title, so you have to make some other retarded thread and add the other top 5 pick to his resume, but somehow to his detriment. It's incredible what you people come up with.

um…

4 trips to Omaha … 3 trips to the finals…. 2 National championships…. never been fired.

vs 1 season that’s a complete anomaly compared to entire rest of his career….fired twice (plus not retained once).

yeah, totally similar.

I don't see Jay being susceptible to failure of handling success. He seems much more in control of his team and himself. I fully expect to be back in the CWS hunt next season. In Jay we trust

really then why did Andy Lopez who had won mutiple nationals titles not pull them from the slump?

To be fair, I said I don't want to believe it

I surely hope we don't need a Paul Skenes/Kade Anderson top 3 MLB pitcher on roster to make deep runs in Omaha

Not sure how thats a crazy take

The 2024 sucked arse and 2026 team is unwatchable. Feel free to disagree.

NEWSFLASH: A championship team usually has great players. A team without great players usually won’t win championships.

We've been to Omaha twice in his 5 years

Those 2 times with the pitchers in the thread title.

Almost like that was the point
