All of the above hired along the same timeline as Kelly and have at least one playoff appearance. We’ll see how this season plays out but Elko/DeBoer/Kiffin are all currently favored to have their team make the playoffs over LSU. If that happens it starts to look real bad for Kelly after four years.

Hire an experienced and proven OC and then an OL Guru. (Or let the OC pick his own OL Coach) .

I love the defensive staff, Austin Thompson, the transfer portal eval’s, etc..
There is some good going on in the program but it is overshadowed by the offensive start. BK built a good defense staff. BK has to hold a playsheet during games which means Sloan is done.
BK will have the ability now to clean house on that side and find a Baker equivalent.

You could pretty safely say that about any coach. Most fanbases’ team doesn’t win even one in their lifetime. Very few active coaches have won one.
ETA: I also don’t understand the hate for BK…I have no suggestion for who I would rather have as a coach.

Given his high profile, and the expectations. It shouldn’t be surprising that people hate him. They feel let down by the results thus far. It might be a little irrational, but not what I would expect given the results thus far. This has probably been accumulating since the Texas A&M meltdown last season.

Indiana played ONE ranked team last year during the regular season and got destroyed. They then got in the playoffs and were destroyed in the first game.

Then just last week they traveled to Autzen Stadium, home of the longest home field streak in the country at the time, and handled Oregon who many had as one of the top 2-3 teams in the country by the eye test. Kelly has nothing like that on his 3+ years resume here. Just inconsistent football teams that are lousy on one side of the ball or the other. Not one complete football team in 3+ years.

In the era of NIL team chemistry is something that erodes and has to be rebuilt. We see this among your so-called "elite" teams. "Elite" teams have gone down left and right to inferior competition.
Kelly is not the problem most of you think he is. You allow media to form your thought processes and have ditched rationalization.

Yes. Detail oriented. Which is why we had Brian Pollian as the recruiting coordinator, while every LA-based coach on the staff was canned.
So detail oriented that we had the worst defense in LSU history in his second year, which cost the program a title shot with a Heisman QB.
So detail oriented that after firing his DC (to the tune of $5 million), he rehired some of the defensive staff he sent packing a couple years earlier.
The cherry on top is the lazy promotion of Joe Sloan - a guy whose accomplishments included running the 80th and 117th ranked offenses at LA Tech.
Kelly’s predecessor was roasted for his revolving door of unqualified assistants. Not sure why Kelly gets a pass on this same issue.
