U people gotta stop falling in love with these Louisiana born kids who love LSU. At the end of the day this is a business and there’s more talented players on the roster. He’s about 6’1 215 4.7 speed he’ll do great at Vandy.

He had a rough season and didn't see as much PT as he wanted. WR room is full. LSU will be fine. I really like Bech in purple and gold. But it is what it is.

He’d be fighting for the 4/5 WR spot next year. Not hard to figure out.

Move on. He got passed up this year and with guys like Sampson coming in he's going to get passed up more. He saw the writing on the wall. Played very well last year but for whatever reason this year he had it zero mentally. Maybe it was lack of practice from injury, maybe it was him falling down the roster, maybe it was a combination of both. He didn't have a good year at all even with his limited opportunities.

Probably not. It's a pretty simple situation honestly.

Wasn't he showing interest in Notre Dame?

I honestly think he can play at a better program than Vanderbilt. Some of the Texas schools may be interested (TCU, Baylor, SMU, Texas Tech), even some of SEC schools should give him a look (Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Mizzou, Kentucky, Carolina).

He feared he would get passed up. It's not like LSU runss a 5 wide set. Majority of the time it's 3 WR and a TE. You not taking 7, 8 and 11 off the field and Hilton will be back healthy plus the 5 star WR's coming in. Writings on the wall.

If people remember he was once a verbal to Vandy. I honestly doubt he'll go there, but sure would be a hell of an education. With the WRs we have returning and the 3 studs coming in Bech saw the writing on the wall.

He’d be battling BTJ for the #3 spot, but Nuss showed that he’s going to look for Boutte and Nabers a majority of the time. Just hoping they stop doing stupid stuff like going to Lacy on 3rd down.

I wish he’d stick it out, because last year was more indicative of the player he can be.

He wants to be the man somewhere. You dont have long to do it in CFB. And that will overtake "family legacy" every time.

He wants playing time more than a LSU uniform.

Boutte
Nabers
Thomas
Taylor
THEN you get to where Bech may be. And he would have to fight Sampson off.

Don’t think he didnt notice what Palmer did this year at NE. There’s a dude that didnt get many looks here and was a number 1 option for that offense:

I think Bech is a good WR. He led LSU in catches as a true FR last season.

The problem for him is that the WR room is deep and talented. Palmer left and became one of the top WRs in the CFB with 1000+ yards and 9 TDs. If he returned to LSU he would probably get buried again on the depth chart. It was a good move for Palmer and will be a good move for Bech.

I don't blame either for trying to improve their stock. Bech looked very good as a FR and had a rough Soph season, but I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to another program and blows up. I wish him luck.

I get the dilemma - something like 30 for 360 and 4TD but they’re impact plays for a championship contender or have the chance to be a thousand yard 10TD guy against lesser competition in literally any other conference.

It would sure be nice to. Amateur hour going to him twice on key 3rd downs.

Yes….Lacy had a bad game with two key drops in the A&M game. But you can say the same thing about other receivers in other games. Lacy made some critical catches in other games.

He’s arguably 4th in line for catches.

Until the day Shelton Sampson Jr. shows up on campus. Then he’s coming off of the bench at best. He can go elsewhere and start.

People tend to love him on here. He’s overrated as hell and gives 0 effort
