Well we went from needing perkins to be a savior last year and he was out of position. This time around he is a luxury to have back. If Payton and jack are as good as advertised to be this front 7 could be really really good.

Clemson is supposed to have a good pass rush. What I haven't heard mentioned is how they will be against the run. Many times a DL can be good at one aspect and not the other. Having said that, LSU is going to have to prove they can run the ball this season...certainly couldn't last season even with a very, very experience OL with 4 of them drafted.
