He is 6'3" around 225. He is bringing one of his high school buddies with him. They will drink and enjoy the experience. I am afraid for them because they both played football and aren't really programmed to back out of a fight.
I am truly afraid one of their frat pricks will start something with them and then I bail two 22 year old boys out of jail.
Any pointers for those that have been in these situations before? They are level headed young men who will NOT start shite.

Just take the taunts in stride. Don't take the bait. Because of his size, I doubt any single one of them would want to fight him. but he is outnumbered. He needs to be mature. Have a talk with him before he goes.

He is, and that's the only reason I am taking them.
ETA: Now his big brother isnt even invited to go with us
He would definitely go to jail.

Bringing my pack of DnD heroes. Let them try something.

If they can’t go there and not be idiots, they should just stay home.

I think people are overreacting a little bit to the hostility from ole miss fans

How about you work on your parenting skills since you are so woried about your son going to jail whats next you worry about him doing drugs because he didnt pass dare in school sounds like you need to break out the belt or make him pick out a hickory and put a little fear in him

In years past, I would agree with you. The hatred for us and the emotional damage they have gone through these past few months is unreal.

The fact that he will NOT back down from a fight should prove how he was raised.
Keep your parenting advice to yourself

It is imperative that fathers instill emotional intelligence in their children. When they don't, people get in fights with others over grown men playing with a ball.

Nothing wrong with having some drinks, but my advice is to not get drunk. Even good people make bad decisions when they are stinkin' drunk. It also make you a target. Otherwise, enjoy the hell out of the game!

People aren't reacting strongly enough. OM fans are a deranged bunch.
