I have been extremely critical of Johnson this season, but no one is burned. Our bullpen just didn’t perform as well as usual, paired with Stevenson playing timid, and bats going dead to a slow velo lefty (not unusual for this year) it was a perfect storm. I just hope we come out firing tomorrow.

Yep. If you wanted to play on Monday.

Collins should have started. Dutton hasn’t had a good outing in a while.

It was his coaching of the hitters that blew. Put on some red lights and that pitcher walks himself out of the game.

I agree, probably the one change I would really make.

I can’t even begin to express how irrelevant your opinion about how Johnson managed tonight is.

The Usm pitcher just pitched lights and for some resin our batters could pickup or figure out his pitches or mechanics.

Probably had red lights. We take a lot of pitches until we get a strike, and you aren’t gonna tell a player to take til he has two. Pearson should have been drag bunting all night though.

Stevenson shite the bed. Those two he let drop in front of him pissed me off.

He made some questionable decisions but he managed it like he knew he had a game to play with.

I don't agree.

We started 2-0 in at least 5 or 6 at bats and when he had to throw strikes we did nothing with it.

There were at least four Ball 4s in the dirt that we swung at in full counts. They started at the knees - the ball isn’t going to get any higher.
