Hypothetical question. What happens with three undefeated in the sec?

However unlikely it may seem, what happens if say LSU, Tennessee, and Texas all go undefeated or lose one a piece. Who goes to the sec championship? What’s the tie breaker, does it go the rankings, say take the two highest ranked out of the three. Or does it go to a Friday Night Lights coin flip? The only ranking at that point that would matter is the CFP ranking but are we gonna let the committee decide who plays in the SECC?

1) W/L Record
2) head-to-head
3) common opponent results
4) Paul Finebaum

I believe it’s not finalized yet. It will be sometime in the next 2 weeks.

3 undefeated sec teams get into the playoffs.
Best option would be the team that gets to sit out of the SEC championship and not risk injury.

How does that help?
Combine results from all 4 games against OU, Arky, Florida, & Vandy?

If those three were tied to be fair to all three they would pick Alabama to play Georgia.

That’s not “common opponents results”.

I think he's asking -
Who goes to Atlanta for the SECCG? In the event that 3 teams are tied with the same record.
My guess is - the 2 highest ranked teams once you get passed the tie-breakers

This is the answer:
If it goes to the conference for a tie-breaker, Alabama will be selected regardless of records.

It goes off of strength of schedule. They would look at the opponents and the combined Ws and whoever played the better schools by wins/losses then those two go

If they’re all undefeated then common opponents would be meaningless as they would’ve all won their game. I’d imagine records of common opponents and strength of schedule would come into play. As someone mentioned earlier, the best scenario would be for the team not playing the SEC championship game.
