...within 2 years. (yes, it is far fetched to say the least)

LSU still has Ensminger and is around where they currently are ranked offensively.

What will this place be like?

Lose their collective shite on two fronts.

1.) Les changed
2.) Our offense sucks

Maybe not in that order

Indeed.

Imagine Kansas in position to make the CFP.

Not totally crazy. They were undefeated in 2007 when they played Mizzou. Mizzou since departed for greener pastures.

Miles knows the Big 12. Knows how to recruit. Could work.

It won't be hard to have a decent offense in the Big 12 and outside of Texas and OU, Kansas can be just as talented as anyone else in the Big 12.

Miles will never put the defense at a disadvantage though if it can help him win games. It's why he never changed at LSU. He should have been fired on the spot after his comments after the Texas A&M game that year when he made that comment about Fournette you knew he would never change at LSU. It was too easy a formula to rely on the talent he had on defense.

It's not that far fetched to think that's EXACTLY what would happen. If you want to compete in the Big 12 you have to be able to score. You aren't suffocating anyone with defense in that league. He also knows he won't be able to get the same level of talent he got at LSU.

Remember, Les wasn't always terrified of offensive progress at LSU. The 2008 year shell-shocked him and he figured out he could win ugly with a strong defense and "good enough" offense. He wouldn't have that luxury at Kansas, so he would adapt to the Big 12.

LSU fans will be apoplectic while throwing up trying to watch Ensminger's offense try to execute a screen pass

Les was successful against shitty defenses. The B12 is full of those.

Maybe a well placed rumor that Les is hiring an offensive guru would light a fire under Alleva and pressure him to do the same.

Kansas is in negotiations since last night with a possible hire of Canada as OC.
I can see it now: Canada lights it up with jet sweeps and this site gets burned to the ground...

There were three legitimate candidates when Orgeron was hired. Herman went to Texas and Jimbo said no after it was botched the first time. Yes, Orgeron failed at Ole Miss, but his interim stints at USC and LSU showed he was a viable candidate. I know many will disagree, but that's how it played out.
