HVL and Kobe Bryant connection…

Kobe’s wife sent our team shoes for the tourney too. Lots of interesting connections here. HVL seems like she was or is pretty close to the family. Def a CSB.

Interesting. I did not know she was from Washington State. I played basketball in that gym. Cashmere hosted a tournament in January. I played for Port Townsend High School, and I remember it being 40 degrees in PT and we got to Cashmere and the temp was -8 degrees. I didn't have enough layers. That was the coldest I have ever been in my life.

That was my sophomore year in HS. Coincidentally, I moved from Port Townsend to Glens Falls, NY, that summer, and went to the same high school as Joseph Girard, who is considering coming to LSU on the men's side.

The HVL/Kobe-daughter connection got me thinking. What do you think is the probability of Kobe's daughter and Shaq's daughter playing together at LSU. I think it's a real possibility (if Kobe's daughter is of the right age.)

It was sad to lose Kobe but I feel bad as well for HVL who just started a connection with Kobe only to have it ripped away only a few months later.
