I’ve heard that just about every year. There is always a dissenter in the group. This year seems to be a little different tho. I do believe they all like each other. Good to see. I still don’t see a clear leader in this group..couple of guys need to be very vocal over the next 10 days.

Kling and Neal probably did not love their use.

Kling should have had his eyes opened after his freshman season that he greatly needed to upgrade his hitting and yet seemed to have not improved in year 2 and ended up being a defensive insert late in games. Look at Stanny, he made his share of F ups misjudging some balls to CF but he improved significantly at the plate as the season went on and did everything he could to drive in runs. Neal didn't look any better at Bama. Who cares about this shite anyway.

Losing causes tension, but Hunt hasn’t decided if we should be a top 8 seed yet so take what he says with a grain of salt.

Why comment on a post about the past if you don’t care? The OP question is about the past no one gives a shite if you care about the past. Read the OP and move on if you don’t care. It’s not hard

It just seemed like a bad number of strong personality types IMO that led to 3 or 4 separate friend groups on the team. It seemed like Milazzo had a crew, Kling had a crew, and 1 or 2 other players grouped up with people similar to them and didn’t seem to have much to do with the others. That’s completely an outside observation

Did you just make all of this up?

It didn't help that Kling slept with Willie Roaf's wife.

pretty sure the only player for us he's batting slightly better than is Brazz. Which is hilarious when you compare attitudes between the 2

Moffett wanted to stay but he knew he’d never see the field. He wouldn’t be a piece to the run. Was going to vandy till Texas came calling. What’s funny is usm offered a weekend rotation spot but he didn’t feel comfortable there. Texas has offered enough yet he still never really saw meaningful action. Moffett is a good kid. Just not good enough to get a starting spot at LSU.

Go ahead and downvote me if you like, but based on my own eyes, it sure did seem like Tommy Tanks was over it and ready to move on. He went from a patient hitter in 23 to a guy that swung at every first pitch and couldn't get out of the batters box quick enough by the end of last year.

from what i was told by people on the team....tommy was a huge huge part of the problem. total dickhead to everyone after 23.

He was caught in a weird middle ground where academically he was too good for JUCO but baseball wise needed the reps.

He'd be a monster at some of those high academic D3 schools where he could log a bunch of innings and get a great education.

As a member of a publication we were down on the field multiple times after the games. Hayden Travinski was talking to someone who had no affiliation with the team from the seats right behind the dugout - multiple times and looked incredibly frustrated and was constantly complaining about something. I know that the year didn't turn out as he had hoped - but spoke volumes about the team chemistry.

I was at a tailgate and spoke to one of the players dad at the A&M series…said this year is totally different. Dad was great, introducing me to other kids parents, he was excited as hell (arambides dad, awesome guy). Said the kids all get along, their GF’s all hang together and the parents of players all get a long. Parents and GF all tailgate together before games at Doc’s RV (lsu RV with the horns on front). That day they were partying big time before the double header, Evan’s dad was cooking all kind of meats, they had Jell-O shots passing around, jamming to music having a really good time. Was very fun environment and cool to see all the parents tailgating and partying together.
