I think it's more reasonable just to compare him to other QB's and not to all atheletes in general. I think that is the confusiion in this thread. If we are just talking about QB's then he is top ten and that's not even debatable. He is not top 3 though as Bert Jones, Y.A. Title, and Matt Flynn were clearly better. I think what separates Jefferson from a player like Hodson is Jeffersons strength and mobility which allows him to make plays out of nothing. As far as passing and leadership they are about on equal footing although Jefferson might have a slight edge in leadership.
