If JJ was a draft prospect with a legit shot at making an NFL roster, I could entertain this thought. But he's not, so I won't.

He's a better running back than quarterback, not great though. I think this team is so good, most quarterbacks could win surrounded by this motherlode of talent.

You can't be serious. He lead our offense to a 100+ ranking last year. We were cellar dwellers in the SEC in terms of offensive production. He's not even in the top 1,000.

Both of our senior quarterbacks are average at best.

I appreciate their contributions to our program, but I must say that I look forward to next season when I don't have to hear about either of them.

Hence why I said modern, keeping it last 15 years basically since that seems collective memory for some

Slightly ahead of Josh "I AM LSU" Booty. Where did this lovefest come from from. 99.9% of the fans wanted him benched last year.

Ok people, jj had a very good and impressive game today.. but, lets not get ahead of yourselves....

Next you'll be saying he can take tom brady's job with the patriots.....

Flynn's final season was better than any season JJ ever had.

Flynn's 07 season is way overrated. You could argue JJ's 09 season was better. Only real difference was 4 less tds and 4 less ints for JJ.

Nowhere near the top 100. We've won in spite of Jefferson, seldom because of him.

QB's? Not in the top 25. Players? Not in the top 500.

He has been lights out since he got his starting job back, and has proven his leadership skills to Coach Miles and the the rest of team. As a fan of LSU since I was a wee one, I honestly cannot think of a football player who better represents what LSU stands for as far as redemption and loyalty to the school. anyone else share these feelings?

Uh, dude, I think Jefferson has caught some unfair criticism on this board, but he isn't a top ten player. He's having a damned good season so far. Let's leave it at that for now.
