How would you rank Jordan Jefferson as an alltime LSU great?

Definitely a top 10 player in LSU athletics in the history of the school IMHO. Shame we didn't get to see him more at the beginning of the season because of the legal problems. He has been lights out since he got his starting job back, and has proven his leadership skills to Coach Miles and the the rest of team. As a fan of LSU since I was a wee one, I honestly cannot think of a football player who better represents what LSU stands for as far as redemption and loyalty to the school. anyone else share these feelings?

I wouldn't.

And that's not a knock on him.

You can't think of even 3 or 4 players from each of the big 3 sports who had better careers? Yikes.

He just isn't that good.

Just has a good supporting cast

Just in modern era I would have Tyler, Rohan, Mack, Flynn, and Russell ahead of him

To say he is a top 10 or top 5 player is a bit ridiculous IMO. Top 5 at his position is a fair argument, but overall players is just absurd. This is not trying to flame or discredit him, but he is surrounded by playmakers and have many who have come before him who are truly great at the college and pro level.

JJ along with the entire squad has to be considered greatest football team as a whole. No real need to rank individuals at this point though.

not even top 30.

Top 5 over:

Bert Jones, Casanova, Tommy Hodson, Wendell Davis, Dalton Hilliard, Eric Martin, Eric Andolsek, Nacho, Faneca, Y.A. Tittle, Steve Van Buren, Billy Cannon, Rohan Davey, Josh Reed, Matt Flynn, Jamarcus Russell, Doucet, Bowe, Ben Wilkerson, Brian Kinchen, Rogie Magee, Eddie Fuller, Kevin Faulk,

and that is just offense.
