Crowd was great, had a great time overall.

Yes, and everyone stayed to the end. The crowd provided a high energy environment for the comeback stage and they players fed off of it.

Man, I was not prepared for after the game. I've never seen anything like that line to the metrorail, and at one point they weren't letting people exit the gates on that end. People were just scrambling everywhere on that end. We got to the stopped gate and went through this single person gate through the north and ran into more closed gates. People were jumping the fences like crazy, and that's eventually what I had to do. Cabs were telling me 2 hour waits, so walking downtown seemed like my only option. I ended up walking like 7 miles and getting on the metrorail farther down the line. It ended up just stopping at one of the stations for some reason though so I had to get off early.

Well to be honest, there was a 5x surge charge on Uber after the game, so if you didn't want to spend 50+, then the train was your option. It wasn't too bad

Also made friends with the girl serving beer outside our section. Paid full price for the first beer then she let us give her our cup and she would refill it for $5. Don't know why she offered that up. Guess she liked us lol.

I have seen this before at stadiums. I was told they count beer cups to determine how much should be in the register/sold. I had this offered to me in Enron/minuteMaid/whatever its now called for popcorn. My kids ate a lot of discounted popcorn. I had a lot of discounted beer.

Makes me feel better about spending $30 to park. Fortunately I was able to sober up during the game - drank too much before game.

Flew in Saturday AM from California. Went to Houston Alumni party. Very nice but need more tables, chairs and bars. Stadium experience okay. Seemed more NFL type vibe. Not like Jerry World at all. Houston needs to decide to rip down Astrodome and make area around stadium nicer. All and all 6 out of 10. Because I was with my LSU brethren 10 out of 10.

Springbok was not ready at all. I was at the upstairs party Saturday. Waited in line 30 minutes for a drink. Ordered a jack and coke and the guy said they were on their last bottle of jack. This was at around 2pm. At that point they were also out of all beer besides shiner bock.

Springbok was totally unprepared. I was at the upstairs party too, but went downstairs to get a drink. They weren't even serving on one side of the bar downstairs.

I'm glad I didn't listen to those who said not to stay at the Crowne Plaza by Reliant. It was great and very convenient.

walk ons/ l'auberge tailgate was legit, but the overall tailgating experience around the stadium was very subpar.

and yeah we got out the stadium okay. Walked down a bit and watched 3 or 4 trains filled like sardines come by. Said frick it and ubered. The poor girl who did it, because everyone else's phones were dead, said she checked her account this morning and they charged her $100.

Had a great time. I like the city of Houston less every time I go though. I wouldn't feel safe with my wife walking alone on the street right in the middle of downtown...some seriously low quality folks hanging around, especially in the Main Street Square. Last time I was there for work I saw some dudes smoking crack or some other non-tobacco or herbal product right there, with visible police presence.

We stayed at Crowne Plaza Friday and Saturday night. It was nice being so close to NRG. Went to the Galleria Saturday. Left out later this morning. It was a great getaway.

then to 3rd Floor and Pub Fiction (second much more my speed),

We tried to get into 3rd Floor, line was just too damn long and I don't like waiting to get into a "bar."

Pub Fiction more my style as well. Liked all the TVs, live band and plenty of beer to choose from.

We parked in the yellow lot on the very end, near the entrance and exit.

$30 well spent and easy access to catch interstate access road.

I used a comp uber code to get to the game...though the guy who took me was clueless on how to get to the stadium and I had to somewhat help him out.

Stayed at the Courtyard Marriott near the Stadium -- even though many people said not to do this, it was great! We had dinner at La Tapatia...so good! When I asked them to make a purple and gold margarita, they laughed and made me one! We tailgated all afternoon, and we had a blast as did everyone else who was out there. It was muggy, but not NEARLY as searing hot as Dallas was last year. And, yes, we could have had a better first half, but that last half of the game was SWEET! Houston was fun...would do it again and can't wait to go to Lambeau Field in 2016.

My wife and I stayed downtown at the Courtyard and started partying on Saturday morning at the Flying Saucer. There were like 30 LSU fans waiting outside for it to open because it didn't open until 12 noon. When they finally opened the doors at The Flying Saucer, the Tiger fans filled the joint almost immediately. As my wife and I took our seats and the rest of the LSU fans poured in, I looked at one of the waitresses and read her lips as she said,"Are you fu#$ing kidding me?!" Obviuosly, they were not ready! We headed next door to Springbok, after finishing our meal and they were definitely NOT ready! It was feeling like Iraq heat inside there and you had to order two drinks at a time. Once we were ready for NRG Stadium, we headed out on the rail at about 5 pm and let me tell you, it was an awesome ride to the satdium. Chants of L-S-U, as well as AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, Suck that Tiger D#$&, B#$&*. The game was great, but the rail after the game was HORRIFFIC! We walked almost 2 miles to a different location to catch the rail and even though it was packed, we squirmed our way onto the rail. We still gave Houston a thumbs up!

The rail was pretty bad but after all was said and done the wait was only about 20 minutes and we were at the back of that huge line. Felt like an eternity though
