I think he is a very smart and good coach but I think some new blood at that position wouldn't be terrible, maybe someone with a little more fire. If he stays great too, so I guess I'm feeling indifferent about it if I'm going to be honest.

All depends on who we hire to replace him. Malleveto would be upsetting.

Not very if we grab the right guy. He has wanted to be a HC for a long time.

Yeah that's what I'm worried about too, If we go out and get someone I would feel a lot better about it than if we just promote one of the position coaches.

Pretty much nothing can upset me about LSU football right now.

We just experienced the absolute pinnacle of football nirvana. By default it has to pull back.

Recruit, rebuild, hire well. Win a couple NY6 games, make a Natty run in a few years.

You people saying not very and looking for new blood are lunatics. I don’t have to wonder very long on why Trevor Lawrence played his worst game of football EVER on the biggest stage.

But good luck to Dave a P5 job like that for a first time HC is pretty sweet!

It is inevitable. I just hate that we may lose him and Brady at the same time.

Not gonna lie, I’m on cloud 9 after that season. BUT, if we promote from within for our new DC and “passing coordinator” I’ll be coming back to earth salty

It's an inevitability, just a matter of when it happens. I don't think LSU will have any trouble finding the next guy. It's well known we're not afraid to pay up if they prove their worth.

Would love for him to stay.

But realistically he will leave some day. He’s more ready for a HC gig than Brady is for OC, but in the end they all leave.

O’s got this, until he leaves feet first.

Already on record as saying he's not leaving Clemson while his son is there.

I’d imagine Busch will follow Aranda to Baylor

I hope he stays, but you can’t fault him for seeking a HC job. If he leaves, I wish him the best of luck.

It is eventually going to happen, best of luck to him if he gets the job and we hire the best available coach

Yep...success breeds this. Just seems like a mass exodus all at once with coaches and juniors.

Ok, I know Ima dumbass most of the time, but why in the frick would he go to Baylor? Please enlighten me.

ETA: Ok, never mind. I am stupid. For a HC position. Guess I could see that.
