LA Clippers vet and regulate ticket holders behind opponent’s 2nd 1/2 basket to most fervent. Make it happen Athletic Department for Tiger Stadium Eastside behind opponents.

“Who sits in the Clippers' Wall of fans?
Only passionate Clippers supporters are allowed to be part of The Wall.
The first 13 of the 51 rows are dedicated to the most fervent fans, who have to be vetted by the team beforehand. They're expected to stand during the entire game.Tickets in that section can’t be listed on resale websites.” LINK /

It is hot as frick on the east side for almost every home game aside from the last 2 or 3. Just a weird comparison to an indoor basketball arena

ETA: I have west side tickets so I have no skin in this game, but I completely understand why those people leave early in some cases

So instead of making the right investments to get and keep butts in seats we should put rules in place to make it less desirable to buy season tickets?? How does this make sense?

How about you quit worrying about what other people do. It doesn’t matter.

The Upper East should never have been constructed.

The eastside ticket holders are the ones paying the bills for LSU. If we want to stay or leave early, it’s our call. And for the record, I never leave early, but if I did, it’s my damn ticket.

Had to get to 100k capacity, even if it meant empty seats. 100k table stakes.

HOW TO FIX EASTSIDE DESERTERS

So what about the West side deserters??? There is more of them than the east side. You just dont see them on TV like the east.

Seriously, One thing that would help the visual effect of empty seats is to change the seat colors to purple. The yellow stands out like a sore thumb. I showed a friend of mine at the Ole Miss game the difference. Late in the game the SEZ still looked 100% packed to the casual glance. When you looked close there were seats open everywhere but they were purple or concrete color. Meanwhile the sideline sections look empty at kickoff because every empty seat shows up.

West Lower and West Upper have as many defectors as the East side does.

Thank God for the NEZ and SEZ.

How about you pony up and buy a season ticket on the east side and sit through the heat every game? Instead of calling out the people that are really putting their money up to support the team?

Not sure exactly what the OP is suggesting but I’m in my lofty upper east side seats well before the game and I leave when the game is over. Rain or shine. Even the miserable 2:30 games.
We get so few Saturday’s in Tiger Stadium in a year, I want to be there for every play.

Balmer is also one of the richest dudes in the world, he can dictate whatever he wants.

Last time I checked, I spend A LOT of money on the east side for my three seats. Even if I wanted to leave early, so be it. Get off your couch and come sit with us. The I don’t go to games crowd always has a ton of opinions.
