I got to work at 7:30 to get an early start before people started getting here at 8:30

Well, since then, I successfully read every possible article about the game tomorrow and got nothing else done.

I have a meeting at 10 that I'm going to try to transform into a discussion on who's going to win tomorrow and why.

You just described my morning almost exactly.
The only difference is my 11 o'clock will not turn into a college football conversation because they don't give a shite about college football in Boston.

Nobody wrecks a meeting like I do. Not once in my 22 years of working have I needed to know anything bad enough to ask a question in a meeting.

Got up at 5 and cooked breakfast. Got a call at 7:45 and landed a pretty good deal so now I plan on being completely worthless the rest of the day. I can't remember being this excited/nervous about an early season game in a long time.

Geaux Tigers!!

I literally spit out my coffee on my desk watching my students clean-up the spotless shop for the 4th time this week... We did make LSU coasters on wed though...

we have a strict "no questions after three o'clock" policy at our meetings that is strictly enforced by our parking lot party committee

12 of the 18 people I manage are in TX. It’s been interesting this week while I flirt with the line between trolling them and being inappropriate in a way that could get me in trouble. Geaux Tigers!

I have been zero productive. An idiot colleague wants to go over a project right now, when I am trying to get in on all the articles about this game...whats with programmers being totally oblivious to sports!!!

Typical day, other than the fact I've been spending a LOT more time here, instead of watching movies and browsing reddit.

How I wanted this day to go and how it has gone are two very different things.

Very productive morning so far. I just checked in for my flight tomorrow morning from PHX. My son has a high school game tonight in PHX so thank god for SW direct flight tomorrow morning.
Now I will do nothing but read stupid shite about the game and listen to talking heads that don't know shite spew their nonsense......Which makes me question my own judgement.

i work offshore. If you get mouthy at the 5:45 and make everybody late for dinner, you won't have a tv in your room and your wifi won't work. That's a fact.

Came in early and knocked out two important meetings before lunch. Plan on coasting the rest of the day. Can't wait for the game tomorrow night!
