You know the program has hit bottom when the ultimate sunshine pumper Dandy Don doesn’t mention that there’s a game in his daily update.
You mean get through the first series of the first quarter without a time out?
Exact same here.

I've been so unproductive at work the past two weeks that if I don't get with it, I'll be on the streets with BK but without $50 million in my pocket!

I read that phones were taken but someone got one in and recorded the comments from the chancellor and when Golding is announced as the new HC.

I have a retired police officer/retired Army veteran friend that is an LSU alum that certainly could display something like this in his LSU decorated house. There are fans and then there are fans. He certainly fits the latter. I'd be happy to make arrangements to make that happen!
Backstrap in the sous vide to 128 and finished with quick sear on the BGE.
Watching on the patio and yelled, “Yes, yes, yes!!” Neighbors probably thought I was having the best sex of my life. Dogs cowered away and just now warming back up.

My dad and I “watched” the game last night from his hospital bed. He never opened his eyes but we kept telling him the action. This morning he passed. As we watched tonight I kept saying just win it for him. I know he has to be watching. I think he was tied up for 10 innings and finally got around to giving us a little help in the 11th. Love ya dad.

What exactly is the weather in this image? I get Baton Rouge weather can be a little unpredictable but I think there are all four seasons in one picture. There are shorts, sundresses, t-shirts, jeans, vests, winter parkas and sweaters.
Long-time lurker, infrequent poster but hands down best sports, news, outdoors, food site around. Pretty certain the model for the shirt isn't a TD member though...
Nothing we didn't all already know but a good read to pass the time while pretending to work. If your boss asks what you're doing just tell him you are reading the Wall Street Journal.

You’re not a true Tiger fan if you’re not obsessed. I told my wife she was going to have his child and we would name him Joe Jr. or Joetta if a girl. She was ok with that.
The Russians killed Epstein.
I'm glad you asked that. I had the exact same question.

Perfect summation and I too have been to the stadium as an “impartial observer”. On the piped in music, the lady next to me said if her daughter was playing that she’d tell her, “to turn that s*** off!” Great experience overall and living in the state going to make the next year much easier.
I think you meant to ask how many times have I stopped looking at TD to mix in a little work.
Bluebonnet Golf Course is a great option. It’s less than $50 on weekends and they enforce a 4 hour pace of play. It’s our go-to course when we know we have a tight schedule.

The other recommendations on this thread are strong as well but a little more pricey. The muni courses are slow on weekends so plan accordingly.

If you don’t have a tee time yet you need to get one quickly as all of the courses tend to fill up.

All that said, we’re playing at Avery Ranch at 8:00 so if there and see the purple and gold, say hello!

We're playing at Avery Ranch.
My freshman year at LSU. Still ranks as one of the greatest game experiences - eerie fog and flying oranges.
I did that last month. I put some jalapeños in the cream cheese though. Like another poster said, there was nothing left. Was just looking for something different than I’ve done before so thought I’d try throwing it on the smoker. Might change my mind and grill it though. Not hearing overwhelming “it’s great smoked!” feedback.

Has Anyone Tried Smoking Backstrap?

Anyone have tips or experience with smoking venison backstrap? I’ve always grilled them but thought I’d try something different this time around. Was thinking marinate, dry rub and wrap in bacon then smoke at 225 with apple and/or mesquite. I have an electric smoker so can easily regulate the temperature and use a thermometer so cook to temperature. Just have never tried and don’t want to ruin it and especially on game day! TIA
I think it's more of a Texas thing after living here the past 30 years.
We need to reopen the Clock Operator competition.

53. I was there when the stadium was a dorm and there was no Neck. Students threw stadium seats and oranges instead. We would get to the stadium at 2:00 for a night game. Good times.
