Yeah they really do. I highly suggest going up there for the LSU game. with Jerry Jones, Walmart, and JB Hunt all throwing money at the school, It makes you wonder how theyre so bad at football.

Would be funny if they decided to leave the SEC over this. Maybe go back to the big 12 and be lone king. Wont happen because no on will leave that SEC money but would be funny

How exactly? Because of Jerry Jones and Blue Bell? Arkansas isn’t exactly a powerful school and A&M grossly exaggerates how much money they have because their cult freak graduates donate half of their yearly salary to A&M’s endowment, and they’re affiliated with Blue Bell. That’s it.

Neither A&M nor Arkansas’ athletic departments are wealthier than LSU, Alabama, Florida, etc. and that’s all that matters. It’s cool that A&M tries to be the weird rich kid who convinces everyone that he’s sooooo rich but they’re not that guy in the SEC

I'll say this: If Arky and A&M can prevent the conference from expanding by two more teams that we really don't need, and who don't fit in geographically or culturally then I will be forever grateful to them.

Are you talking about the same tight arse Walmart that has yet to settle a slip & fall case . Never. They have a staff of lawyers just to make sure that those poor arse shoppers don't get a nickel out of Walmart. That's a fact. I would imagine you can count on your balls the number of athletes that Walmart has showered with free money. They may have trillions of it , but I don't think they represent the foundation for the Hogs of Tomorrow.

Yea and all those slip and falls are legit? Right.

It will be a 13-1 vote and maybe a 14-0 vote to admit UT/OU.

Oklahoma is tne only real threat in this deal. They have a legit coach and can pull insane offensive talent at will. Defense has been their weakness, but if they hire a legit defensive coordinator they could be a major player in the SEC.

Texas on the other hand is coming into the fight with Steve sarkisian. If they have to wait 2-4 years for entry I predict he won’t be the coach. They’ll need to go get a Brian Kelly or another big time hire to compete in the SEC.

Money talks.
Arkansas and Texas A&M have two of the deepest pockets in the conference, and they have expressed their lack of enthusiasm for the potential move.
Arkansas, through the Jerry Jones connection, approaches Missouri. Three Arkansas home games over the next 10 years are offered to be played at Jerry World. The gate is split, the gate is 60% Missouri, whatever it takes to buy the vote of no.
Texas A&M pulls the exact same move with Ole Miss, through the connection of Bjork being the former Ole Miss AD. The Aggies offer three home games over the next 10 years to be played at NRG stadium in Houston. The Aggies offer whatever gate deal is needed to secure a vote of no.
The vote of no is more important to Arkansas and TAMU than the money.
I don't see any way that the conference could stop side deals like this from happening.
Can Missouri and Ole Miss be bought? I don't know, but I would expect the effort to be made to find out.
The newbies certainly don't want to hear this out loud---impressive on the down votes, My Man!---but this content makes for a good post.
Arkansas is not among the schools with the deepest pockets. Jones or not...

These corporations will not give the SEC billions annually to keep a school out of the conference. Because that would be what it would take to match any future TV contracts.

The Waltons don't care for sports unless it is more bike trails in the area. Then they will throw money around like candy.
