It’s my way of saying I always have realistic expectations of QB play, and you don’t. I’m sure you were one of the guys who wanted Nuss to play over Jayden and then talked yourself into the 2nd year jump (because burrow & Jayden did it!!!) frick outta here

I wasn't high on Jayden Daniels his first year based off his history.
He proved me wrong in his first couple of games watching him play.

Sam Leavitt you say is progressing is bullshite. Hell yeah he looked good against Mcneese State.

That's your progression game I guess. FOH

He had two costly TO last night. Progressing my arse

Green was undeniably the WR1, the same way Jimmy Graham was in his heyday with the Saints.

When you lose him and his replacement (Grace) is a zero in the passing game & cannot execute any of the basic duties called for by a TE, id say that’s a drastic change to your offense.

His 2 worst plays were the int and the fumble. He had great pockets for both of these plays. He got cute with a lazy arm angle on the int, and he shite his pants for no reason on the fumble by jumping into pressure. He could have just backed up 2 ft and thrown it away or grounded by a rb or wr. He freaks out at the hint of pressure. The oline had 0 to do with either of those.

Explain how Sam missed Malachi Thomas wide open in the end zone on a simple mesh crosser. Basic read in the progression but Sam doesn’t take it and drifts backwards and tries a hero ball play again. Simple shite like that makes the tight ends and receivers look bad.

Daniels didn’t turn the ball over recklessly

No, he is an extraordinary pass-catching tight end who can line up anywhere. You're just flat-out wrong on take after take after take.

Mothershed looks like a peewee football player when he lines up inline at TE. Is LaFleuer that bad? Not having another TE is crazy.

And The WR were built around Trey Dez’s size, mostly smaller guys. There isn’t a ton of variation.

There are glaring issues at LG & RT.

I like the bones of the offense with Leavitt. You can have average WRs but your OL needs to be good. Or an average OL if your WRs are excellent. But they both can’t be average to below & expect your QB to play well

Les I agree with a lot of your takes but come on man, he’s leading the country in turnovers and you’re saying he’s not the problem ?

A hell of a lot less than what we gave him this year.
At this point he owes us.

Lol ok. You win. Green wasn’t going to lead the team in every single statistical category in receiving.

LSU should pay him to leave and go with a different transfer QB. He is not the second coming of Joe Burrow.

This x 100. He’s never gonna be a qb that doesn’t take some chances that lead to turnovers but half his turnovers this year are from linemen hitting his hand or him having to short arm throws because his linemen are getting pushed backwards into his throwing motion. We aren’t losing games because of him. He can get better at seeing the pocket collapsing and trying to escape but it’s normally coming from multiple sides. He was trying to check the ball down last night when it was knocked out. We have the smaller, weaker, less physical offensive line on most nights in the sec. They aren’t good again. This is the majority of your problem this year.

Was this intended as a point of some sort? Seems a little nonsensical.
