I haven't really paid close attention, but I was wondering because in RPO the line is supposed to fire off like they are run blocking and the QB decides whether to hand off or pass. Or are we running more play action pass?

I knew that and you can see how the OL blocks like a run, but the question is "how often did we RPO"?

It sure worked that time didn't it? Actually if you watch the second video of Boutte's other TD (in the same link) you see the OL drop into pass protection and the pocket immediately collapses but Max slides and makes the throw.

Well, by the time the QB can determine R or P he is on his A. Line has to give SOME time.

The State DE misread the play and fully took the fake to the RB, otherwise Max is sacked and there is no TD.
There are moments, literally fractions of seconds that change a game. That was one.
Another is the busted coverage on Trey Palmer. LSU scores on that play, as well.
Another is the entirely lucky play where Taylor catches a pass intended for for Boutte, again for a TD.
we win by three.
Any of these errors back, we lose.
Its a funny game.

LSU runs the PO the pass option, Max has not run one time yet.

our line doesn't seem to do this on running plays

How many times does it have to be said? The run part of the RPO is the handing to the running back, not the QB running the ball.

It does seem they’re starting to incorporate it more.

Nitwit you are aptly named.

This shite is comical!

We got some real football genius here. Anything else you want to add Nick Saban?

Barely any. However, when they do call them, they have been very successful.

I don't know what's wrong with Peetz, after calling an up tempo game with fantastic success against Central Michigan, he reverts back to trying to establish a running game with an exceedingly dysfunctional offensive line. Why can't that loon stick to what works? Give me a freaking break.

Have you noticed that even on straight runs the offensive line is moving no one?
