We got after Jalen Hurts and didn’t give him enough room to use his legs for majority of the game.Chaisson had his best game against OU. Is Clemson’s OL much better than OU?

They're definitely better than OU, but I don't think they're elite. We have some opportunities there.

Worse the Georgia and Bama for sure. That’s the only thing I can say for sure, because I’m not sure how to compare Oklahoma’s or Clemson’s because I’ve only really seen one game of each.

I think we will be successful on defense against that line though.

Ohio State was able to get good pressure. The only issue for them is they weren’t able to contain boy wonder. Hopefully, LSU will be able to get pressure with 4, while spying TL and if he decides to run, his rushing yardage will be limited.

I think they were second or third for the Joe Moore award, so they are not far behind us. someone posted a good homemade vid showing the profile. 4 seniors and only 1 who had started for a year

they're good. again, they haven't played the dlines we face every week. they did enough vs ohio state.

Ohio State got to TL pretty good all night so I don’t think they are much better than OU if at all.

Clemson's OL is comparable to LSU's OL. The ways that they differ is in their different blocking schemes.

Clemson's OL really excels at run & zone blocking but they are not as good as LSU at pass blocking which is why Lawrence has so many rushing attempts and yards.

LSU's OL is good at run blocking but really excels at pass blocking. Burrow runs as a last resort compared to Lawrence who runs out of necessity.

If you compare sack stats, Clemson gave up 16 sacks so far to LSU's 30. I don't know if this is a relevant metric to compare because of how different each team is offensively, but it is a fact.

Jalen was far faster and far more nimble than TL. TL is still a tough dude to bring down, but they are way different IMO

Maybe so, but we have our own Divinity playing in this game.

It is so difficult to judge simply because they play such shitty teams in the ACC. A&M was probably the best team they played till Ohio State.

Ohio State got pressure, though they didn't always get the sack. LSU just can't let Lawrence sit back and sling it. I think we can, but we also have to minimize the damage he does scrambling.

You have to remember their OL stats are based on playing teams like Charlotte and Wofford (?)
So the only game that we can use to measure them equally is the Ohio State game. They did well, but I don't see them as elite this year.

And, let's not forget our stump, Mr. Shelvin, in the nose guard spot. He'll tie up some of their line, or he'll be in the backfield.

"Y'all gave up 30 sacks"

Shut up homer, we played 6 top 10 teams this year. Clemson played 1 last game, and yall had 16 sacks from the crappiest schedule in a long time. Burrow still racked up over 5,200 yards passing so eat that.

We also have more drop backs. The key stat is sack rate. Don’t know that off the top of my head, though.
